Pretty good game with lovely graphics and voice acting. Unfortunately, when discussing it with my friends, I mispronounced it as "F*latio Incident" and they never let me hear the end of it. ;-;

Experienced on the Meta Quest 3. VR Review. Yes, I played this game in VR using the completely free UEVR mod by Praydog. This game does look absolutely gorgeous for the most part in VR. However, it also has some issues. The biggest issue is when you run, the game only renders on the left eye of the VR headset. The easy solution is to simply close your right eye. However, you can also used the synced sequential setting on UEVR. The other major problem is on the level where you're in the dark (dream like jail level). It was simply too dark on the Meta Quest 3. I could not see anything at all. I had to do some gamma corrections in CVARs in UEVR, but even then, it was still too dark. The game itself is kind of mediocre. It starts off very strong. During the first hour, I was really enjoying the game. However, the dark level, along with the bees level, really dragged down the experience. It just also didn't make sense and made the story seem meandering. It's like they took the story into left field just to prolong the gameplay. Even then, I finished the game in 2.5 hours. So there's not much here. VR Rating 6/10. Looks great, but too many issues. A nicely surreal walkabout simulator touching on some very interesting themes, with some nice scenery and music to boot. A bit short, but still well worth a buy when on sale. Pros A very nice soundtrack Alan Wake style journal pages Decent voice acting Cons Some bugs** Quite short(under 4 hours) The protagonist ;) (**Sometimes the player will walk very slowly after an area transition, which can be quite detrimental in the areas where you need to move quickly between heat sources. Restarting and continuing fixes this)

I Want To Be Alone In Ice Land The game was so atmospheric that is the feeling it gave. I love the game. It was so short and sweet. A bit of drama and a handful of hallucinations. You play as Stanely and is on a plane with yo waifu to Ice land, you love travelling but what happens when the plane crahses?.. .. ... Story - Real or Unreal? Story is found mostly in the journal pages that is scattered all over this small icy island that you stumble upon, your waifu is technically missing and you keep some contact with her using your walkie-talkie. The main goal is simple: find your waifu and get out this damned island. And oh yes don't be a snowman because its freezing. You play the game as a loner, so there is no one to help you. It's icy cold and you need warmth too. The secret story is a real sinister one which you will never believe, it's related to war, politics and Its most probably inspired by the 1987 incidents between unionists and IRF with Ireland. The journal pages are of your wifes and that's the one that has all secrets. Will your find your wife in the end? Will your survive? Dive into the depths of a PTSD ridden individual's mind in combo with hypothermic symptoms due to -degree cold weather. Gameplay - Realistically Chilling It's a walking simulator and you need heat every 5 seconds which makes the game play similar to "near death" in a way but not burdening. So you need to be near some sort of heat source which is spread throughout the island. Your main enemy is the chilling weather and the island itself. You can gather useful items and solve creative puzzles to progress through. Collect journal pages and find the story they are usually hidden in secret spots. Characters - Strongly Irish! The characters have that very strong Irish accent which is exotic. The wife is a very determined tough woman, while the husband is a daredevil and does not give up. They both have strong personalities, when the game slowly unfolds you also hear about other characters close to them. Their parents, friends, victims - you learn vaguely about all of them and their experiences too. Overall good characterization. Art and Music - Atmospheric and Dramatic The visuals are breathtaking, so beautiful and melodramatic. The game is so atmospheric that it hits your right in the feel, best game to play when you are in misery, i caught myself thinking about being all alone in this island myself ngl. Music is nice. Achievements Nothing major, you get one each when you collect journal pages and other mediocre ones. Getting all the journal pages could be a bit tough but not for expert detective players. Overall Great atmospheric short walking simulator to play during winter. Recommended for couples and fans of detective mystery genre.
