One of the best horror games At the beginning of the game, everything is really scary, just like the previous series The NPCs are well designed The game map is relatively good and you can find many sub-missions and items The story of the wonderful game and connecting it to the first version The graphics of the game are great compared to the year it was made In general, the game is good in every way

The Evil Within 2 is a victim of its own ambition. The first game was a cool Resident Evil-like survival horror game with some cool surrealist setpieces. Overall a solid horror game, but nothing too remarkable. The sequel, on the other hand, is a much more unique experience. It's biggest departure from the genre norms is being an open world game. The combat feels great, the aesthetics are just as spooky as the first game, and the story is serviceable. However, the open world nature of the game leads it towards feeling less focused and ultimately more like an action RPG than a survival horror game.

This is the best horror game I've played in years. The fact that its OPEN WORLD means you never quite feel like you are "where you are supposed to be". In linear horror games no matter how scared you are you know in the back of your head "I was designed to be in this part of the game at this point. There is probably enough ammo and items around for me to deal with whatever I run into." BUT, in this game you constantly wonder if you are in a place you shouldn't be yet. Wondering if you accidentally stumbled upon a place meant for later. Fearful that you spent ammo you shouldn't have on enemies you shouldn't be fighting. Plus its stealth gameplay is great to increase the tension and horror. its amazing. By it now.

One of my favorite games of all time, first one as well. I've always hoped for a 3rd game, maybe it was a bit unrealistic but after Microsoft bought Bethesda my hopes got a bit higher. That's until today...Microsoft decided to shut down Tango Gameworks and as a result ofc, all hope is now lost for a 3rd game or just a new game/IP all together. Sad to see that such a talented studio with so many hits and such high potential just gets shut downed so easily. Seems like no matter how good your games are, how critically acclaimed they might be or even how well they sell... it won't be enough.
