This is a wonderful game, by a couple engineers working on it in their spare time. It's the good kind of early access, the developers are very active on Discord, providing behind the scenes updates, responding to feedback and having a crack at player suggested feedback.

The developers swiftly addressed the core issue of the first version (within ~1 month of release), which was the lack of saving functionality in the game (if you're curious you can read the now outdated review below - and the dev response). As of today, they added this key functionality with additional features to boot. I applaud these developers and - if the trailer/ genre speaks to you - I 100% recommend you go give the game a try, as it is already a good value for the price and I am confident the developers will support the game further. OUTDATED REVIEW: WARNING: Currently, you cannot save your constructions that you built during missions. This means: - You cannot come back and see/edit prior constructions, regardless of whether you beat the mission or not. - If you're mid-construction and need to leave the game/level for any reason, your progress is gone. Game-breaking bug/ crash? Start over. Want to take a break and come back? Sorry, no. - If you accidentally click "Abandon Mission", (which is located very close to the button for editing the construction) the construction is gone. To add insult to injury, the game grades your construction's performance upon mission completion - so the game encourages refinement while simultaneously hindering you from doing so. TL;DR: I recommend but only if you can overlook the above issue, because the rest of the game is exactly as advertised: a lot of fun and 100% a solid value at the price point.

Hark! This game, a bewitching enchantress, doth ensnare my senses, as I strive to shape and mold creations with unbridled passion. The sands of time, they slip away unnoticed, for the quest to perfect my design consumes me entirely. Alas, the cruelest jest, for the design's fate hangs in precarious balance, unable to be preserved for a future endeavor. Lo, the clock doth toll, and I, in my pursuit of innovation, find myself entangled in the web of sleep's betrayal. Four hours hence my labor, and the morrow's toil awaits, yet my eyes are denied the solace of rest. A lamentable truth, for the inability to save one's creation and return to it at a later hour doth cast a shadow upon this game's splendor. A rating of eight out of ten, I declare, with points deducted for this dire lack and the perilous allure of sleep's denial. Notwithstanding these tribulations, a recommendation lingers, for the joy of creation and the thrill of experimentation doth hold sway over the heart, despite the toll it exacts.

I saw this game's release trailer a few days after it officially released. When I learned that it was developed by two actual civil and structural engineers, I knew I had to get it. I'm currently in college for civil and structural engineering, so I knew this would be a great place to test what I had learned. I've had a blast so far, and the satisfaction from having something work is amazing. It takes a lot of hard work and thought, but the limitless potential makes for an enjoyable, replayable experience. 10/10 recommend, and thank you to the developers for making a great game!
