A really fun and simple dungeon crawl game with really nice, atmospheric music. I've replayed it a lot over the years. If some day there would be an updated mac version, I would be really happy!

i used to play this game on the school computers back in the day i kinda forgot about it but when i saw it on the steamstore i instantly remembered how much fun i used to have with this game and Im proud to say its just as good as i remember

I absolutely love this game. I played the Flash version on Kongregate and then just recently bought it on Steam after Flash went down. Took me about 40 hours to get all of the achievements, with the museum Completionist being the last one to achieve. I love how many different skill options and combat styles there are, such as going the pure attack/critical/defense route, or using elemental spells based on enemy weaknesses. I've beaten the game/challenge modes with both styles, and with a good strategy, both are equally powerful. The only issue is that I wish the equipment, or at least the enchantments, in Newgame+ modes were stronger. At higher levels, it seems more of a game of luck, requiring dodge/instant kill and chugging potions to survive the insanely high attack of the monsters. But it's just an optional endgame mode anyways, so it's not too critical.

A pretty fun game to play through while relaxing and listening to some youtube videos. My overall experience with it was great, though after several playthroughs as well as several new game+, it became clear that the Late Game wasn't thought out too well with levels being much harder to grind, gold being less valuable compared to stat points, and the stat points themselves being too sparce to make them worth going for later on. If stat points would instead allow you to increase your stats at a percentage wise, for example +1% attack, it would allow a gradual increase in stats which then would allow for easier new game+ playthroughs (as later on you are one hit by pretty much anything unless you're lucky and keep dodging.) still a pretty fun 100% playthrough!

Put many many many hours into this game when my junior high gave us laptops to take home, finally able to buy the full version and love the content i couldn't play on the free flash version. great dungeon crawler and the extra gamemodes are very fun aswell. if you like a game that makes you think about health before a fight or even magic points. you will like this (:
