This game was my first proper introduction to this genre of game when it comes to first person games and I am so glad I picked this one first. The story was fun to follow along and I enjoyed playing as each different character as it was fun to see each of their perspectives on what was going on in a single night. I'll definitely play the second game of it soon!

The Bridge Curse Road to Salvation is an enthralling adventure and survival game. It comes from SOFTSTAR, a developer based in Taiwan. Its a great indie game where its premise is based on a legend where a group of friends have to perform a ritual on the legendary Bridge Curse, only to anger the spirit. They now have to figure out the source and put an ed to it before they all are taken out. It is a nice game but don’t expect too much horror here. I end up exploring the university campus, which is based on Tunghai University. It has a creepy admosphere that makes me shudder and want to avoid going out at night. On occasional moments, I will encounter ghosts and I have to avoid. That’s largely the direct horror and they are jump scares; I can avoid them by hiding in a bathroom and/or locker. Other than that, the horror is best served by the night time atmosphere. The graphisa re fine, and it is clear that it is a passion project by a small number of developers. In the en,d the game is still a nice horror game. I like the usage of the phone to track tasks, see message,s and have goal. The whole game, I can see we progressed over the course of a whole night. The voice over is incredibly passionate. Each character feels like they are living the experience. Plus, the translation in subtitles is pretty accurate. Are there any downsides to be aware? I did not see an option for an English Voice over, and would have been useful at times. Also, the game length reaches to 6-7 if played without any prior knowledge. The price point is a bit high at $10; at that price, I do believe content should be more closer to 10 hours of gametime. In the end, I had a good time overall with this game and my experience is a net positive. There is a sequel game called “the Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication”. I urge anyone to try that game out too because it is also fun. It was based on the sequel to the film “The Bridge Curse 2”. Overall, I had a good time in this horror game and would recommend to anyone who wants to play. Here is my verdict: Score 80% Recommendation: Yes Replay value: no

The game is a solid story driven horror game that I ultimately enjoyed but it definitely has some rough edges. The atmosphere and premise are strong, and the game does a good job building tension. That said, the final boss felt cheap. It was hard, but not in a satisfying way, and it honestly didn’t feel like it belonged in a narrative focused horror experience. I managed to finish it, but it clashed with the tone the game had been building. My other issue while slight was the Japanese only audio with subtitles. Subtitles would appear and disappear too quickly, cutting off before I could fully read them. I’m not a slow reader, and it still felt rushed, which caused me to miss parts of the story. Its super frustrating in a game that leans so heavily on narrative. Despite those complaints, I still appreciated the story and what the developers were trying to do. There’s a genuinely creepy experience here, even if some design choices held it back from being as strong as it could’ve been.

I really enjoyed this games and the characters are mostly all great! My favourite was LinEn who I started out not really liking but, later on I was like, yeah she's the best. 100%. Overall this was a fun experience. I've enjoyed playing both Bridge Curse games. Each one isn't too long but are a fun experience.
