The most detailed and well-thought out Chilla's Art game so far! Hoping future games are as fleshed out as this one is.

I have always been a big fan of Chilla, and The Bathhouse did not disappoint. It's just as horrifying as the original, if not better. The graphics are noticeably improved over the original, but this comes with higher PC requirements. I had to lower my resolution and graphics settings (playing on an RTX 2050 laptop), and was able to run it at around 30 to 40 FPS, though it sometimes dropped to 25 FPS during particularly demanding scenes. Gameplay-wise, there is a significant improvement. The chapter selection feature is a great addition, allowing players to avoid replaying the entire game to achieve all endings. There are three endings, all of which are relatively easy to obtain compared to the original game. The puzzles are also significantly easier and less tedious, which I view as a positive change. The original game’s puzzles were too challenging and time-consuming. There is one incredibly unique scene in one of the endings that I found to be a first for Chilla. I won’t spoil it, so you’ll need to experience all the endings to see what it is. Here are my ratings: Gameplay: 9/10 Graphics: 10/10 Horror: 7.5/10 Story: 9/10 Script: 8/10 Voice Acting: 8/10 PC Optimization: 7/10 Pros: Great story High-quality visuals for a Chilla's Art game Easier to obtain all endings Chapter selection feature Good scare factor, though not as intense as Night Security Cons: PC optimization still needs improvement Translation issues are present Some graphics and audio-related bugs Will I recommend it? Absolutely! I consider Chilla the "Horror Master," surpassing many AAA titles in the genre. I look forward to playing more games from this developer. Edit: Oh, yeah, and if you owned the original bathhouse, you receive this one for free. A Chad move by Chilla, the horror master.

By far the best chilla's to date. An IMMENSE visual update from their previous works, the longest playtime (if you're an all endings kind of person), and their most fully-realized narrative imo. Really really enjoyed this one, and the final credit roll had a smile on my face the whole time Chilla's has always been at the top cut when it comes to demonstrating their understanding of the ps2-era horror game roots that a lot of modern devs share. With every iteration, you feel how their sense of focus in direction has improved. And with this latest entry, for me at least, it feels more than mastered. Engaging gameplay, not an overly suffocating atmosphere, creative scares, and just the right amount of humor delivered exactly when you need it. Looking forward to the next one!

Best Chilla's Art game by FAR ( even tho i still like Parasocial a bit more ). The atmosphere was good, it didn't go full jumpscares just enough to scare you and the story is like in every Chilla's Art, absolutely insane. Loved it!
