- Main story is ok - Side quests are 95% fetch quests. - There's a lot of walking, even in an age where people have net-access. A LOT of walking. - Armour and weapons are ok. You'll stick to 1-2 guns for your whole playthrough, melee is pretty much an afterthought. - A lot of bugs. No widescreen support, you'll have to find a fix online or play super zoomed in. - Missing cut-scenes, spelling mistakes, unfinished entries. Feels uncooked. - Unplayable on a controller. The aiming is a jittery mess with little to no aim-assist (even at high). - Music is great. Good electro beats and "Ghost-in-the-shell-inspired" overtures. - Enviroments are some of the best I have seen in a cyberpunk game. A truly gritty cyberpunk universe, I almost feel this game would be better in first-person because of all the detail, grittiness and lighting. - Because of the above, some moments can feel quite cinematic. It has overall, good art direction. In short, a fun little Diablo-clone. With not a lot of depth, very few quality of life mechanics and a few bugs. The environments and atmosphere should be studied as they are very well done. Get it on a big discount for less than $10 imho.

A very good couch co-op game that you can play with a friend. I fell on some ice back two years ago and I could not walk for almost a week because I hurt the inside of my knee muscles and lower back. A friend came over to check on me every two days or so to make sure, I was eating and being able to care of basic needs. I bought and downloaded this game and we played it for almost eight hours straight the first night. We had no idea what kind of game it was, or the story, anything really. Just jumped into it. We had a lot of fun couch co-oping this game.

It's a decent isometric shooter. The gunplay is solid and has enough variety in both weapons, tools and enemies that it does not become dull. Each enemy type has an unique fighting style and fits the lore of the races and their loadout, as well as each weapons having something different to them. Although, the enemy encounters you have while traversing the levels can become a bit repetitive. Compared to the mission encounters where it's a toss up where or not the combat is enjoyable. It has a bunch of difficulty spikes in some areas for no apparent reason and will afterwards go back to a more reasonable difficulty. The areas are leveled, meaning that you will have some areas you shouldn't go at the start as it can be much more difficulty starting out, which some might not enjoy, but i didn't mind it. There will be a lot of walking back and forth from area to area, while there are train stations, it's not everywhere that has them, so expect a lot of walking. Biggest issue the game has, is that the mission marker will not show the exact way to get to the objective, so you can sometimes "fumble" about, trying to figure out the correct route. The map can be helpful, but is at times more vague in what streets and pathways to take and is more a way to figure out if you need to go up, down, left or right. It also is rather buggy, i had a bunch of issues in cutscenes and 1 time had a bug where all of the enemies were just gone. The game does have coop, however i did not play that, so i cannot vouch for it, it does seem like a decent game to play with friends though. The atmosphere is amazing and it's clear a lot of effor and time was put into making the game world seem believeable. Despite it being a sprawling city, there's still a lot of variation in the enviroment design from area to area, helping keeping things fresh. It definetly gives off a cyberpunk aesthetic with it's own spin on it. This is also helped by the camera, that will on multiple occasions, orient itself, so it's showing off the immense detail of the backgrounds that further helps immerse you into the game. The artstyle and stuff here and there, reminds me of that 80s and 90's anime artstyle with mechanims and buildings with lots of interesting details and gribbly bits The sounds effects are great and have a punchy feel to it. Voice acting is hit and miss, but for the main cast is fine, some of the voice for the side missions can swing a lot in quality. The game does a "incomprehensible" language for the npcs that talk in the background, which takes a bit getting used to. However the soundtrack is AMAZING and further immerses you in a cyberpunk game. One feature that perfectly captures the feel of a dystopian setting, is to have most combat happen in crowded areas with civilians, whom will panic and run from the gunfight, but will more often than not be moved down either by you or your enemies, it puts into perspetive how little life matters in this world that even a random pedestrian is not cared about. Narrative wise, it's rather bare bones and you're just completing missions for people without much more information, while it can be seen as a realistic depiction of what a "gun for hire" would be told, for a narrative perspective, it leaves the story limping. There is a great deal of background lore about all of the things in the game, which is located in the codex, these are great to further flesh out the world, but the actual story that the player goes through, is rather tame, and it just ends, sorta on a cliffhanger and gives you newgame +. The same goes for the side missions as they are at their core, not the most interesting, it's either kill someone, deliver something or something similar. While the game isn't perfect, it's clear so see that there was passion in creating the game, and it's still fun enough to play through. i could recommend this game for someone wanting to play a shooter in a cyberpunk setting.

This is a really fun game. If you're hoping to run it on Steam Deck, you're gonna be out of luck though even though Steam shows it as fully compatible. It'll lock up your Deck if you try to open it. So beware of that. Otherwise, definitely recommend. This game nails that Blade Runner aesthetic, and the music is great.

Wow! + Visually incredible. So, so dense. Insane amount of detail and wizardry in making this world, especially from an isometric perspective, feel so vast. Those cyberpunk skylines, everything was just so busy. It truly felt like a great cyberpunk setting akin to CP2077. - Pretty boring characters, your main doesn't speak, I dunno everyone except for maybe Noghead was a bit of a one-note dullard really. The problem with painting everyone in a Cyberpunk world as depressed is it all gets a tad boring after a while. I wanted interesting unique characters. The only other one of interest was the star-crossed lovers from different corps romeo + juliet style sidequest. That was cool. + Really fun gunplay and augs. I tried a bunch over my time. + Appreciated the gunsmithing and transmog options. ~ Never once played it co-op or online. Single player only for me. Still worked! + Enjoyed the end-game DLC too. nice little send off. Overall, definitely worth it. B+
