Great game for kids of all ages, adults included. The Adventure Pals is a straight forward Platformer with very light RPG aspects thrown in. Very quick and easy to complete and if you're into achievements, collecting all the achievements is quick and easy too. Relaxing game with a continuous funny vibe and art style. I'd definitely recommend this title for kids and adults who're looking for a light heart platformer to chill with.

Super Adventure Pals was a big part of my childhood and one of the best flash games ever made. It was ambicious, but charming and comical. Like with another Armor Games classic, Swords & Souls, a Steam sequel (or in this case, a prequel) was announced and released, which made me really happy. I've been wanting to try them out for quite a while now and having beaten this one, I can say it's like revisiting my childhood again. Familiar places, like Treevale, familiar faces, like pet Rock and the old man. Familiar quests, like the stamp or the speedo, and above all, so much more content than its predecessor. There's some things I don't really like, such as the combat which never gets really past its serviceable nature, the deceptively low range of the sword, the ineffectiveness of dodging, the minimum air time you get before having to tongue-copter your way out. But it's all speckles on a much larger package. The platforming is great, the enemy roster varied despite always following specific archetypes, the story is comically fun and simple. It's a stellar, charming game that proves the Flash era can still live on.

Great game. The music and visuals are phenomenal and the game feels great, if your using a controller that is. The combat is simple but it doesn't need to be too complex. The stages are fun but they drag on for a little too long. The art style is one of the best parts of the game. I do have to say, some of the collectibles are too easy to get, and some are easier to get than actually beating that part of the level. Also, the game is way too easy up until world 4, where there is a noticeable difficulty spike. Other than that, this game is great.

bought this when dantdm played it, so like trillions of years ago. pretty good and still hold up to this day. achievements are hard but very easy to get once you know how. overall very fun and enjoyable.
