It plays very differently from the original Blocks That Matter game offering challenging puzzles that are not exceedingly difficult. The level design is excellent, always introducing basic puzzle concepts early and building a foundation for the player to put them to use later in more challenging levels.

A decent puzzle game. The mechanisms are easy to understand but interestingly complicated when combined. And I like the way the developer hides the secret rooms.

Lovely puzzle game where one uses a small robot to pick up and logically use/stack blocks in different ways by firing them off till they either hit another block, switch or a wall. Later puzzles change the effects of blocks and one often needs to be creative in using the blocks at hand and think a bit outside the box to get the right solution. It starts easy enough but if one wishes to get all the memory cores the difficulty ramps up quite fast. It's one of those puzzle games one would play in short stints in between doing other things and a good buy if one loves logical puzzles that use the environment to help stack the blocks in the right way.

An excellently designed, brightly colored exploration puzzler. Can be quite tricky, but you generally have multiple puzzles to work on at a time. Runs great on Linux.

You play as a small flying robot that can absorb blocks and spit them out again. This looks like a platformer, but isn't. While blocks are affected by gravity, your character is not. Movement is tile-based and the action is almost turn-based. I have terrible reflexes, and yet I had no trouble except for one room (end of 6-3). There is a story about repairing robots and trying to find the main character's mentors, but it doesn't tie into the game that much (and says nothing about the slime bosses or keys). Length: 51 levels, a couple hundred puzzles, took me over 20 hours for 100% without hints. Pros: [*]Very intuitive game mechanics. There is an in-game journal, but it's only flavor. You learn everything you need to know about the blocks from the puzzles. [*]Nicely challenging puzzles. [*]Unlimited undo (called Rewind). [*]Level editor and Steam Workshop (408 user made levels right now). [*]The challenge is in figuring out what to do; doing it is generally fairly easy. [*]Works great on a touchscreen. [*]Graphics make it very clear what is in the room. Cons: [*]Somewhat buggy, especially if rewinding while things are happening. [*]No mid-level saves. [*]The stupid timing puzzle at the end of 6-3. [*]No tooltips in the editor. Score: 9/10
