Loved the game and the silliness, but I'm not a big fan of replaying the same thing several times just to get alternate paths in any game. So I guess I'll just half ass it and call it a day. Nevertheless, tERRORbane a fun experience with loads of fun(ny) little gimmicks. It's quite short, but worth buying.

This is more of a neutral review than a positive one, since I didn't really enjoy my time playing, but that's not the game's fault. It's pretty funny and entertaining, there just isn't much 'game' to be played. Battles aren't really battles, there isn't much exploration, and it's pretty straightfoward and linear.

Terrorbane is a comedy adventure game which feels like a nod to the Stanley Parable style of character-vs-narrator humor. Instead, we have a player-vs-developer dynamic in which our goal is to find all the bugs in the developer's "perfect" game to show how flawed it is. Eventually there are going to be fourth-wall breaks and NPC self-awareness similar to those Animation vs Animator video series. The game iterates through many gaming genres and even pokes fun at some stereotypical tropes like horror disclaimers, player messages, etc. There are even some quick mini-games that WarioWare does for a certain section of enemy encounters. Overall, Terrorbane really does encourage you to try to interact and think outside of the box for its puzzles. Yeah, I recommend it if you want a good laugh especially if you're well versed in games knowledge and have dabbled in programming. I can relate to the frustration.

A fantastic adventure game! there isn't too much heavy italian reading, and there is a lot of spoken italian. great for picking up some italian software dev terminology too. devs are italian and one of the few devs even voices the game in italian themselves. very fun game.

In itself a good game but especially the future level kinda... sucks. Like, the humor is fine but the moments of actual gameplay is horrificly bad. Mostly because failing a fight gets you a game over. Two problems, in event fights you have to slowly make your way through the entire fight again. In random encounters it's easy as hell to fail because the developer did not actually program the game with any controller but the specific one he prefered in mind.
