I've played just about every teem tennnis game from GBA to N64 to PSP to virtua tennis , most of them to completion on the hardest setting. This is one of the most fun and realistic, but I do like many of them. Some I do not like are AO tennis, matchpoint.

I have experience with plenty of tennis games, searching for simulation (mostly Dream Match Tennis Pro, which is a good game though) and I was never quite fully satisfied. Until I found Tennis Elbow 2013 and I installed the 2022 Tennis Experience mod. Top 1000 is all real players and so far, (you have WTA as well, Davies Cup), I played around 10-15 hours and I never saw an AI play like another AI. They are all different and they all try to play whatever their best qualities are. I started my career from the bottom - the challenger tournaments, ranked 900 something in the world. And the in-game player creator mode gave me the chance to create my own player. You can also start with a real player, like Nadal, Federer ect. The physics are great as well, as real as a 2012 game can be. You have different shots which can change the way of every match - slice, normal shot, hard shot, top spin and more. And after every week in the career mode, you can increase your player's attributes. I have to play qualifiers for every tournament now, but that's exactly what I was looking for - realism, realism, realism. Last time I played, I decided to play doubles and found a team-mate. This adds more to the game. I cannot believe how much fun and different the doubles are from the singles. I highly recommend this game to every tennis fan. At the moment this is the only tennis game I keep on playing. Simply because I don't feel a need for another one.
