tldr. its another rouge-lite at present its OK but not good lots of unnecessary skills or items and certain mechanics are random for no reason is it worth picking up yeah?? but it needs work still has potential but its not there yet honest rating 2.5/5.0 the good - some pretty maps - the monsters are cool with nice designs and evolution's - skills and characters are varied the bad -the events are pretty bland -most of the skills you wonder why they are even in the game -the power-ups are just useless at present for the most part i get why they are there but they just don't do enough to be currently usable in the game -the bosses can pretty much just one shot you easily or just trample you as they move faster than you -character have to be levelled individually- which gives you something to grind for but just seems like they are bloating the game for no real reason -the reward chest seem to be just random for no reason- beat a powerful boss or hard event- one upgrade- some easy event or elite 4-5 rewards ???

Excellent bullet heaven game. Can't help but wonder why this isn't already a Pokémon game, but this one really is great fun to play. Smooth gameplay on the Steam deck, and great core loop. Very moorish and nice steady unlock flow. Of course needs work but it's great so far.

Very fun specially when you find the temtem you love. Slow start but once ya get into it it is very satisfying to see how much further you can go. Cannot wait for future updates and hopefully added more temtems, My only gripe with the game is co-op is code only, so no finding lobbies in-game, you need to either have a friend with the game or go to the discord to find players there. Quite frankly, I hate having to join discords every single new game just to find others to play with but would love to see how even more fun the game is with someone else beside me.

EDIT: They've patched out the caps. Games fun. it'll get better over time too. go have fun. I read some other reviews seeing it had mixed rating and they mentioned capped skill trees. I thought nah it's probably just typical steam reviews complaining about nothing. why cap the trees? it makes no sense. is it to force you to play as all tems? progress blockers for what purpose? it's pretty egregious. I would possibly understand having some higher tier skills being locked out until more updates but to currency cap them? very odd choice indeed. I hope over the next few days they see this as an issue and stop doing that. it defeats the purpose of these types of games EA or not. loved the demo and the game is still fun but uncap the trees guys.
