Technobabylon is an excellent cyberpunk point-and-click adventure that kept me hooked from start to finish. The story is deep and engaging, with three distinct characters whose paths are cleverly intertwined in a gripping conspiracy. The puzzles are well-balanced—challenging but logical—and the voice acting adds so much life to the characters and world. The pixel art is stunning, capturing the gritty dystopian atmosphere perfectly, and the music complements the mood beautifully. If you enjoy cyberpunk stories and classic adventure games, Technobabylon is a must-play. Highly recommend!

Great classic point and click adventure with no unnecessary bells and whistles. Really good characters and solid but not obscure and frustrating puzzles like some of these games throw at you. Interesting cyberpunk story that goes off in unexpected directions, you really feel drawn into this fascinating world. Strong recommend

this game has such a rich atmosphere and beautiful storytelling; it's a must-play in my opinion. it truly has my favorite cyberpunk world in games. i'm a huge fan of the point-and-click genre, so taking time to listen to dialogue and tinker with puzzles is fun for me, but technobabylon's writing and puzzle design made that already enjoyable task even better. the game has quite fleshed out characters overall, and i was very happy to see that puzzles can be tackled multiple ways. a jewel in wadjet eye's already fantastic published collection. i hope for a sequel from technocrat one day! for now, give this one a try!!

Now *this*, this is a good game. Oh yes. Very good. Mmm. Lovely. Technobabylon is a really solid cyberpunk noir point & click adventure. The puzzles are great, very little moon logic but with a unique identity that often goes beyond just using your inventory items on every interactible. Great dialogue and strong characters, a well thought-out setting that while not wholly original feels well crafted enough to distract from its more derivative elements. It looks brilliant too, with some really gorgeous background art and character animation, and the soundtrack and voice acting are as great as you'd expect from any Wadjet Eye game. Of course, there are problems. While the art is delightful, there were several points I got a bit stuck because an interactible puzzle element or object blended into the background too much. The writing is great all round, but the beginning is rough, with a lot of really clunky exposition in its first hour. The setting does have a lot of intricacies you need to understand though, so I can't be too sour that Technocrat opted to just get it all out in one go. Some of the animation is overly stiff and lifeless and the final puzzles see you swapping characters and boy does that get buggy. All of those are nitpicks on what is ultimately a great experience and a brilliant example of Wadjet Eye does best. There's enough of these points of friction to prevent Technobablyon ascending to an echelon of true greatness, but I would heartily recommend this to anyone looking for hidden gem to sink their teeth into over an evening or two.

I really like the way inventory puzzles were re-contextualized in this game, and reasonable logic was used at points to give certain puzzles more than one solution. The story and characters were also really engaging to me. Overall I was reminded of something like Beneath a Steel Sky, but that's probably just because I need to broaden my horizons when it comes to not only point-n-clicks games but also cyberpunk stories in general. I experienced a few minor graphical glitches, specifically during the final chapter where it's possible to swap characters. I also experienced some gameplay issues when I tried beating Gravball without completing the puzzle that makes that part of the game much easier (which I understand is the point of that puzzle, but c'mon, achievements).
