Taiwan Love Story is a super sweet and wholesome game where you spend your time going through the routes of 5 wonderful heroines. In my opinion everything about this game is so wonderfully done. The illustrations are beautiful, the soundtrack is a great read, the voice acting is excellent, and the story is supremely well told for how short the game is after dividing itself between 5 girls. There were a lot of funny moments in all the stories that had me giggling, but the secret end you get after seeing all 5 girls routes was definitely the funniest part. Usually I think back on the visual novels based off of how well each girls route was told through story, but all 5 girls have great stories with none feeling worse than the other to me, so I will be looking back on Taiwan Love Story based on which girl is more my preference rather than who had the best story. Amy best girl I totally recommend this game.

Okay game review time. 11/10. Not gonna elaborate much further because everyone deserves to play this game for themselves. Amazing music, story, art. EVERYTHING. If your having second thoughts about getting this game, DON'T because it is the most beautiful game you'll ever play. 100% worth it, 我的心要爆炸了 ABSOLUTE CINEMA.

Summary PLATINUM | Taiwan Love Story does a great job of quickly building up character backstory and integrates well with dates and mini-games. Adult scenes were decent, and QoL leaves more to be desired. Snapshot Pros [*] Strong character development that hooks you early on. [*] Dates and mini-games are decent. [*] A mix of emotional depth and lighthearted moments. [*] Visually appealing art style and character designs. [*] Great character variety. Cons [*] The grind ensures that you'll struggle to max out affection with all of the girls. [*] Efficiency is a must, and every action needs to be considered. [*] Adult scenes, while decent, don’t stand out compared to Mango Party's other work. [*] Every girl gets locked up on level 6, and you burn quite a bit of time so time management is crucial. Storyline Taiwan Love Story is the story for any hopeless romantic looking for love. Each girl offers a unique personality, and grows to love you in different ways. The depth was not that serious, and overall, each girl's route felt way too short - all things considered. For what it's worth, each girl could quickly be understood. "A mile wide, an inch deep" basically. Mango Party may have over scoped this project and had to compensate as a result. It was a decent story overall. Quality of Life While the game is functional, the hard-lock on girl's content is actually quite irritating. Usually, the developer is very keen to let players complete more routes, however in this one - it kind of forces you to max out at 2 girls. If you're super efficient, you might fully romance 3 girls - but you'll have to use multiple saves [which means hours of grind] to accomplish all 5. The grind isn't the worst I've ever seen in an adult game, but it for sure hampers your ability to succeed and experience everything the game has to offer. Adult Scenes The adult scenes are enjoyable and fit well within the story, but they don’t reach the level of uniqueness or impact seen in other titles. The scenes are short and fleeting, much like your standard run-of-the mill "fling" type of adult experience. Not bad, but not legendary by any means.

Amazing game! Wholesome and some of their story do be hitting the feels. I enjoy every part of it but i was not a big fan of the week system how you only have limited resource within a week but over than that 10/10. Suggest completing your thesis as its the best way to make the most money.

This is a 100% achievement completed review (9.5 hours taken to complete all 5 routes). This is a must-buy for fans of Happoubi Jin's art, as the art style of TLS is very similar. I enjoyed my time spent and would recommend buying TLS at current pricing even though it doesn't quite hit the '$1 per hour rule' that many people try to follow, including myself. Even though there is only 1, there's a Milf of the highest quality tier as 1 of the 5 women you can date in Sarah so that alone is worth the price tag (fellow milf connoisseurs, rise up!). H-scenes are all animated and the writing is very foul-mouthed, not that I mind, but it definitely stands out compared to writing style of your average VN. This caused quite a few laughs and adds to the positives once you get used to that vibe, especially in the storyline of a certain blonde. The one thing that might turn you off is the scooter minigame, which is essential to manual in the starting few weeks. Very Taiwan lore accurate indeed, but it'll make you fear middle road drivers more than anything else in the world...probably. What that exactly means is something you'll have to find out for yourself, but what I will say is that you shouldn't get overly annoyed and don't keep retrying to complete a full 60 seconds because surviving for 30-40 seconds is enough already, as there's plenty of time to complete all 5 routes before the end (I had 10 weeks left at the end). All in all, TLS distinguishes itself from the average ero VN in various ways and is one of the best ero releases in the past few years, and certainly in 2024, where it competes directly with Summer Clover (same publisher) for ero GOTY 2024.
