Pros +Story can be played offline and is long +Bosses have their signature moves +There is nice pool of characters that u can play (21 +3 annouced) +You can farm nice cosmetics by doing story,Co-op missions or boss raids Cons -Its repetetive 9 co-op missions with different bosses in the end its small dungeon maps not rewarded that good... and 3 boss rush -Free roam honestly idk... i dont feel that map... you spawn in huge map with different locations scaled from 1-18 to 92-100 just run arround find monsters/bosses kill them repeat also u can finish quests to progress faster battlepass kill enemies,kill named enemies(that mean boss), run 4000 units,kill bunny etc. From chest u get loot -Low player base(i mean dead player base 7min que and still 3/20) in Europe and Asia become laggy u will getting hitted even when u dodge attacks Neutrals •You have to progress story to unlock characters for online •Its grindy as hell •There is cosmetics for money that change ultimates •Live service game •Combat for me feel pretty nice even on gamepad and i fall in love with how easy it is there compared to other SAO games. Characters have their signature moves and evryone is pretty strong even if u are supp/tank your dmg output can be insane •High que time for harder missions in Europe server (well nothing new game is new and peopl grinding story to unlock characters/skins and lower missions) for lvl 50 boss it takes about 5min to find a game. But there is simpl fix just switch server to asia and u can que instantly and for my self i didnt have problem there. •In game store+Batllepass well for my self thats in neutral.. its always nice to support devs even more and first battlepass is free also u get in battlepass 2 tickets for skin bundles in shop(no info about the future ones... so depend if will be free/give back currency) and for store.. well you can buy the cosmetics that change ultimates and are for 1800 coins(3tickets) and then regular skins 1200(2tickets) and 600coins(1ticket) for 30€ you buy 4200 for me its fair price 2skins that change ultimates+one skin for 600 or 3 normal + 1 for 600coins

Pretty solid game, there's a campaign that you play through to learn the ropes and unlock all of the characters to use in multiplayer, but obviously the multiplayer is where you're expected to spend most of your time. The multiplayer is a completely COOP experience, no PVP. There's a basic coop mode where you run through a normal mission with a party of 4, but there's 5 parties in each mission, so you have 20 players total, but each party is sent to their own section of the map which overlaps during certain points, so it's kind of cool because at first you're doing objectives with just your party and as you progress you temporarily combine parties to complete even bigger objectives and then ultimately all parties join up at the end to fight the end boss. There's also a raid boss mode where you just go straight into the big boss battle with 20 players and just try and take down the big boys. Aside from that there's something called free roam which I haven't spent too much time on, but it is a good way to just grind resources and learn a character without feeling like you need to focus on completing objectives. The game is just really fun, I haven't watched the anime or played any of the previous games, so I cannot comment on that aspect, but the loop is fun and the different playstyles linked to the various different character archetypes is really fun.

Wait for a Sale, the only thing you do in the game is grind character levels on the same missions to get cosmetics. All characters have 3 preset skills/attacks, there is no customization except for clothes and weapon skins.
