This was the first game I've ever played. When I was like before primary school, I came across the game and played maybe only half an hour. Since then, it has been in my mind. like 30 years later, I recalled the it and played through it. I have to say it's a fantastic game, the pic was a bit outdated though. The story and the gameplay is still able to attract me. After completing the game, I felt I have made true of a childhood dream. Whatever, this the game that brought me into the game world.

Cute game with a fun story and loveable characters! The Steam workshop has some pretty helpful tools too, though you can get through easily enough as long as you don't go dodging the enemies...

我遛狗的时候，不知咋的，就突然想玩仙剑奇侠传，一查steam上还真有，买！玩！回想1996年，这是我人生第一台电脑上的第一个游戏，小时候玩的是MS-DOS版，物品没有说明，经常吃了毒物把自己害死。当年这游戏打到拜月教主前面的树妖boss时就打不过了，始终没有通关。一直是人生遗憾趁着这个机会，把几乎28年前的遗憾补上(唉，我真老) 真不愧是1995年的游戏啊，游戏只有10 FPS，像素感强烈，但玩起来还挺愉快的，剧情没有拖沓，非常流程，16小时通关。就是走迷宫这个设定实在有点烦。不过听说仙剑这个系列出到7就没了，我就玩过1，遗憾遗憾。真要有心，可以学最终幻想7一样，做一个remake，估计会卖疯了

I finally finished this game in 2024. It took me forever. Story: 5/5, it is very good and intriguing even though many people disliked the latter half of the plot. It would be a spoiler to say why, however it is from this type of plot that the rest of the games were produced (and kinda mimicked tbh). Gameplay: 3/5, the early game was very diverse, where you use a mix of physical and magical attacks. The last 20% of the game I used the same attacks the entire time without switching it up. Items were kinda useless, and there are a lot of useless items that you can pick up. Music: 5/5, even in 2024 it still sounds great, the workshop also has mods to use upgraded remixes of the old OST. Graphics: 5/5, it is still quite varied, and looks great even in 2024. I've played games with less diverse sprites. Overall: 18/20. Lives up to the hype, though gameplay gets stale. Other notes: There's a fan translation which works with the 98 version (activatable at the launcher). One other note, this game is like 80% maze navigation, I recommend getting a walkthrough/map if you get stuck beyond 15 minutes because there's a lot of dead ends and backtracking. I've not tried the remake.

Played and greatly enjoyed this game almost 30 years ago. Replaying it now doesn't diminished any of the fun and love I had for the game back then. Still one of the best Chinese PC games ever.
