I got this game recommended by steam, I tried the demo and loved it. Then I bought the full game, and loved it as well. I was already quite satisfied with the initial magnet mechanics, which feel very rewarding when you manage to remember which polarity you need to use at each obstacle. The best part is that when you use the wrong one, you get flung in the opposite direction as if the game was personally telling you that you messed up. With vibrant art and soundtrack that keeps you wanting to try one more time. While at times the precision required might feel a bit much, with the addition of extra obstacles (breakable walls, clouds, jump-pads) the gameplay remains engaging and makes the challenge definitely worth it. BUT THEN, I came back to the store page, and I see that this game, having released 3 years ago, ONLY has 150 reviews!!! I understand that it is in the most saturated genre ever, but I genuinely believe it deserves a higher spot among its peers. Give the demo a try and you'll love it!

Another "wish we had a neutral review" games. The game is competent and there are fun levels (quite a few of them), but as you continue in the game it more and more isn't about finding the right strategies and pressing the right buttons, but at angling the directional thing just right + WAY too much controlled falling (that not even Celeste managed right all the time). Like you can have a difference of like 1-3 degrees and you'll fail. There are assist options, but they get an absolute failing mark from me. They absolutely fail in the goal of such options - allowing people with accessibility needs to access the game and get pretty much the same experience and be able to complete the game. There are 3 options - infinite charges, endless air-time, and checkpoints. Importantly none of these properly address reaction-speed, because while it's fine if there's no traps or projectiles in the level, if they are the infinite air-time thing doesn't stop time. It's helpful, but if you don't have the reaction-speed you don't have the reaction-speed. Being able to hang infinitely in air (which is not always a safe spot from projectiles btw) doesn't change the fact I have reaction-speed issues, I need a bit of time to get that in order. Especially as from the 3rd biome onwards there are more sections that are not safe as traps become more common. The checkpoints one helps, but there are levels where one is not available - and if you collect all the collectibles and make it to the final biome - the game decides you don't have any accessibility needs anymore and doesn't give you any checkpoints, in addition to being far worse with reaction speed issues. If there was an invincibility mode to at least let you get past levels where your reaction speed can't handle it, it would be one thing, but you got nothing. And that's not counting MULTIPLE levels where you're on a timer so you can't even use the infinite air time one, because you have to race the level. This is why freezing time would have been a better option. This is one of the worst accessibility modes I've ever seen, because it does almost nothing to address actual accessibility needs. It's mostly just difficulty options and they have such a limited application. I will still give it a positive review, because while I can't finish the game (or at least long since stopped having fun), I did have fun playing the game, especially since I started using the accessibility options. So while they are woefully insufficient, they did help.

This game is probably one of the most imaginative platformers I have ever played. The lack of a jump button takes some getting used to, but I love the fact that you can play it with just your mouse and keyboard. However, nothing is more frustrating than mixing up which mouse button does what in the heat of a good string of jumps. Nevertheless, the music reminds me of old Gameboy Color games, which I love.

A lot of reviews here complain about the difficulty of the game, but as a precision platformer its more or less part of the genre, in the same lane as Celeste or SMB. That being said I never found this game unnecessarily difficult although the final boss is a bit tedious and if you aren't using a controller you'll probably have a significantly worse experience. A fun challenging platformer for people who like that sort of thing. Would recommend.

Great game! I recommend it if you like Super Meat Boy or Sunblaze. The game has a unique difficulty: remembering which of your beams will repel and attract you at any given point. It's like a tongue twister but for your brain. + Charming art + Slapping music - Awkward script - Final boss is the worst part of the game
