It's a fun and chill game, especially with friends! Also the player base is pretty cool. When you're just starting out, I highly recommend playing the SAW vs. Rebellion game mode first to get used to the combat and to familiarize yourself with all the weapons and power ups.

SAR is a very casual Battle Royale game with cute animal characters. Matches are short and an interactive lobby before each match starts makes it an easy game to jump into for a few matches. The skill ceiling is lower than most games, but new players will probably have a frustrating time getting the basics down. There are two more casual games modes that are rotated each week: a zombie mode and a control point mode. The zombie mode is my personal favourite. The lighthearted nature of the game has allowed it to grow a small but close-knit community. I have made plenty of online friends in-game. There are of course some toxic players but I've very few negative interactions compared to other competitive games. The game is free-to-play and and does not use any pay-to-win mechanics. You level up by playing matches and there is some grinding needed unlock some of the animal character skins like dragons and bats. There are plenty of cosmetic clothing items, but some of the more interesting cosmetics must be purchased. This game has given me much joy over the years and I would absolutely recommend giving it a try.

I promised myself to review this game once I hit 1000+ hours / sorry for any mistake I might have on this- Super Animal Royale, as other folks in these reviews say, is a 2D animal battle royale game, with hundreds of animal breeds to unlock and unique cosmetics to help you find out what you like to wear yourself or match with another player. Only unique animals/cosmetics that are locked behind paywall is the ones in the starter packs, super edition, and founder’s edition (which the last one is unobtainable and older starter packs are in the vault) Gameplay wise, for a new player, can either be a hit or miss depending on what lobby you end up in. As the pro players can easily demolish you and bots can be a little messy depending on what they have (hunting rifle bots *shivers* ) continue on to this, this game is not exactly too friendly with new players as the tutorial is quite lacking. Although, finding and figuring out your game strategy and weapons, you can slowly get better at this game. Which inturn can have an addictive game play once you find the rhythm. Community on this game? It can be difficult to explain but it's like any battle royale community, there’s some cool folks and rather toxic folks, being an ex-streamer and still pretty active in the CC communities around this game. You’ll figure out sooner or later on what folks to avoid and what folks to continue interactions with. As this game community is pretty open and friendly, yet feeling the need to have better “gems”, Season Pass Emotes (which can cost 7 dollars), and more, because it seems like the community isn't too open to Free to Play players or new players unless you have something unique to you, to continue interaction. Toxic parts of this community can be seen easily, yet these types of players do the toxic interactions outside of the game, and instead use discord, youtube, etc. To either harass or do negative stuff like that. Toxic in game? Mainly just using the laugh emote, repeatedly gem flexing, or anything toxic like that. But again you can just ignore or report any suspicious activity. (plus most of the time these folks are young children) The issues I have personally with this game is that, once you finish all your milestones and any current pass (which all of this can easily be done under 500 levels or even 350 levels if you are dedicated enough) there’s not much to do, the only things you can look forward to are events and new seasons. Or simply buying an archive pass and work on that, yet if you are a free to play player, this isnt an option for you to do. The only thing you can work for is having new gem colors and getting new breeds of animals, which is fine and I am currently doing this now- Yet the game doesn't reward you anything above 300 levels. Which inturn this game doesn't actually have much “longevity” towards it and this game only seem to update the SAW shop (place where you can spend ingame currency you buy with real money), barely any new updates towards the carl cart shop (in game currency for free players) unless a CC’s item you missed drops in the shop. Cosmetics are wonderful on this game, These folks even take suggestions from the community and put them on the game (only discord) but my issue with it is that it can have a LONG waiting time to get a old item, as these folks do often put new cosmetics in shop every time a new season drops, yet this push back the rotation which in turn you have to wait a bit long or the increasing feeling of FOMO for the new item, because sometimes you have to wait HALF a year to get a damn item, so do you spend money on it now and not have money for an old item or you just wait AGAIN. On the Carl’s Cart from what I mentioned before doesn't have much dedication for it like the SAW shop. Yet, I understand why due to them having to rely on cosmetics for monetization, yet it often feels like this said “free to play” game just sometimes kick FTP players to the curve and give them scraps of missed CC items and old event items from 3 years ago (which the last part is a new problem as in the past events ALL players can work for older event items but the new event layout, only gives the recent old items to super edition players) But from my personal experiences, this game is addictive (as this game is the one I often play recently) and fun to play with friends, and even have new friends made along the way, I just said these negative parts to at least give you the recent taste of what's on this game. As well, I know the developers DO listen to their community and often try to improve. So I wish they listen to this one and take some notes. As I have discussed these problems with my CC friends and new players. This game is INSANELY fun and I am only discussing these with love. But, this is all I can say and thank you for reading-
