Alright. Sunlight is done and dusted. I've noticed that Krillbite Studio likes to explore stream of consciousness and the collective subconscious topics in their games, and this is no different. In this one, you are presented with the question of how you would explain the world to your child if your child was born blind. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3241283348 From there, you will spend your time in the game walking through a forest, listening to various thoughts and experiences which serve to address the topic at hand and then expand upon it by diving more into existentialism. The voices are presented as a cacophony of voices, singular voices, two voices, and so on, and it morphs in and out of the various speech formats and patterns. I found it difficult to really hear clearly everything that was being said, but I think that was intentional, as you pick up on the things you pick up on. For me, my first assessment is that all the unique voices a blind person hears become part of their world permanently. But, as the story progressed, I think it was more about the commonality of humanity despite our unique experiences and that our experiences become part of a pool in which we all swim. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3241283312 From a practical gameplay standpoint, you really just wander the forest listening to the exposition while gathering flowers for a bouquet which you will eventually carry to the edge of what has already been experienced by previous player to drop your bouquet along with a closing thought. On the way there, you will pass many other bouquets and their thoughts left by previous players. Which is a really cool idea to close out a game and really drives home the stream of consciousness and collective subconscious aspect of the game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3241282606 It is a very very slow paced walking simulator despite only being about a half hour in length, so be prepared for that. This is a game designed to engage your mind philosophically. The forest and end area are just vehicles to used to take you there. It's a worthwhile experience in my opinion. Something to be enjoyed once and contemplated for a bit afterwards. Absolutely beautiful little game. Feels somewhat melancholic and very calm. A little eerie, but still beautiful.

Being high as a kite playing through this as my first time was incredible! Lovely little think piece and such a neat sound design implementation. I think I'm gonna go through it again and stream it because it's not quite cozy but it's the type of chill that would go over well with a certain type of audience. ^_^

A nice, relaxing, interesting walk through a beautiful forest. I love this game's art style, more games should aim for something like this. I found the poetry reading over the top to be hit or miss depending on the part being read, but I was never bored. The ending also seemed, let's say, weirdly blunt. Worth a look if you're in for a short session.
