I'd recommend it, if you love cats, but not for the sudoku itself. Simple, cute and wholesome little sudoku game with cats. It's not challenging, but a casual, relaxing short little game, slightly let down by the lack of an "undo" button. But it is cheap, and shows a clear love and care for cats, so it is hard to be too critical. The numbers are replaced by cats, and you unlock little bios for all the cats and learn more about them. You also unlock a little gallery of instructions of how to help introduce new cats to other cats. Which also contextualises the sudoku gameplay itself, as how one is supposed to introduce the cats to one another, while keeping them in separate rooms at first, without seeing each other. The game is very minimalist, and there are not that many levels, but there is a daily challenge, so you can come back for those and do one a day, however the daily puzzles sometimes have more than one unique solution. The sudoku puzzles themselves are on the easy side, so if you are an experienced sudoku player, nothing here will challenge you. Perhaps, if you are new to sudoku, some levels might give a slight challenge, but it is clearly trying to be a cozy, casual type of game, not a challenging one. On the other end, it also doesn't have any real tutorials, so if you are a complete beginner, you won't learn any sudoku techniques, apart from the basic rules. Not that you would need any special techniques to complete this game, the basic rules are enough, but it won't teach you any skills to tackle harder sudoku elsewhere. You unlock "power-ups" that can place the correct cat in a square (or in multiple), and while they can help you if you are ever stuck, it would not help a beginner improve at sudoku, as better hint systems in other sudoku games would do. The main thing this game is lacking is an "undo" button. It is a basic feature that has to be in a sudoku game. Here, it is too easy to accidentally click a square with the wrong mouse button (as you constantly have to switch between using left and right mouse buttons), deleting or filling the entire square with no way to undo that, especially, if you forgot what was in the square before. Also, all the buttons in the menu during gameplay are icons with no text description, so you just have to click them all to find out what they do. The one icon that looks like a return arrow, and I thought should be "undo", instead clears the entire board of all your progress without even a confirmation warning. Slightly annoying to find out what a menu option does, by having a 90% finished puzzle cleared back to 0% progress, when I am trying to undo a move. I'd say it is 10/10 for the cats and the bios and the wholesomeness, but a 5/10 for the sudoku itself, which is lacking basic features like an "undo" button, and the daily puzzle often not having unique solutions, and not really being challenging. Still, I suspect most people are here for the cats, not for the sudoku itself, and as such you will most likely enjoy the game!

If you like Sudoku or puzzles and you like cats, this is such a relaxing (although challenging) and cute game and I definitely recommend! Honestly I feel like I will buy/love anything this Publisher/Developer creates. There hasn't yet been a miss for me. I love that each of the games helps to raise awareness for adoption and rescue of cats. <3

Sudoku with cats instead of numbers, surprisingly tricky concept to get your head around even though it's exactly the same principle. Includes random generator and daily puzzle. Another great game by Devcats.

Everytime you put the same cat in the same box or cardinal direction it sounds like you just stepped on the cat's paw or something and it made me feel guilty so I simply did all the puzzles correctly afterward

It's Sudoku with cats. Simple as that. Lovely made, fun enough, nothing more to add. I'm doing the puzzles in bursts, I'll likely finish this tomorrow or the day after. Simple recommendation for people who like a fun little sudoku game with cats.
