NEVERMIND. Forget what I wrote before for this game, Doujin Otome just fixed all the mistakes they made making this game in Summer Memories so This game, Succumate, has a really unique story and really cute arts. The gameplay...well, tbh it feels very limited but If don't want to deal with all the silliness, GO PLAY SUMMER MEMORIES INSTEAD

A relatively fast game with interacting story. This is from the same creator as the Memories series, but the similarity ends there. Succumate is rather linear but what it stands out are the arts and animation when it comes to Story scene and H scenes. There are not much to do in Succumate though, aside than working and playing guitar... and of course H with the main girl - Lilim. H scenes with Lilim is fantastic with plethora of positions, and there are sub-heroines as well; but the sub-heroine only have 1 position, which leaves much to be desired. Overall pretty good if you are looking for a quick and relaxing game. There is a nitpick I must say though... (spoiler alert) the ending is a bit too realistic that leaves me feeling kinda sour Times F**ped : 1

Succumate is an adult (if you patched it) simulator game. You have a goal with a time limit and do some management, like many other simulation game, pros: - the gameplay is pretty good. while it can be improved a lot, I do think it is kinda fun. And also if this is too hard, they have a continue feature which carry over some stats to make the game easier. - Many unlockables. There are multiple endings and some optional route to replay the game. - The story is kinda good? (see the cons) cons: - VERY VERY GRINDY gameplay. It is very repetitive and somewhat boring gameplay. But I think the unlockables do help a little bit - No clear guide for unlockables. Some of it was very specific to be unlocked - The actual resolution for this game is really small, so expect it to be blurry - The story, especially the true ending, is very dark. Not for those who like a happy and cute story (I don't really mind it but it is very dark) 7/10

Buy this game to support Winter Memories... but for no other reason. There are some good ideas, but the basic execution of H aspects are amateur. This is supposed to be a plot oriented game, with horrible gameboy graphics... so who's idea was it to make hero H scenes for a character that was introduced literally seconds ago. The main character is an overweight dwarf with unrelatable pink hair... nothing like Yui or her mom in Summer Memories. In many ways, the plot of the side characters is FAR better than the plot of the main characters, but you only get ONE prudish gameboy quality hentai scene from them... The game doesn't elaborate on the Teacher/student relationship, it doesn't elaborate on the siblings... it completely glosses over the best characters and focuses on boner-killing gore, dead people and boring contrived one dimensional succubi. Two hero scenes had terrible framing, where you couldn't simultaneously all points of interest... if you could see the face, you couldn't see the epicenter. For the first couple hours, your gameplay will be stressful, constantly dealing with calories and sleep.... Hentai and survival also don't mix. The restaurant mini game should be banned by OSHA for unpaid labor... it's not hard, it's just too realistic and unrewarding. Everyone loves the rock minigame, but it's too short and gets super repetitive. The fidget spinner minigame was ridiculously over engineered... it's what menko should have been. Unfortunately, unlike menko where the reward was a whole character with a rich history, you get practically no reward. Why did the Gacha figurine minigame get a much better reward?? This game tries to be Fallen Shinobi, pokemon, Resident Evil and Summer Memories all at once... but fails spectacularly at all of them. There are some genuine improvements over Summer Memories... like the navigation system, though it's still Xbox gamepad incompatible. Navigation, is even better than Peeping Dorm Manager and should definitely be adopted elsewhere and improved upon. It almost never crashed. The runtime graphics were better than the 8-bit stuff in previously mentioned games, but they are still too rough to be serviceable, specially with the shallow character development. The Gonzo mechanic was the best part of the game, but unfortunately limited and difficult to fully exploit... It's basically a much better version of selling peep shots to the gentlemen's club in Peeping Dorm Manager. A whole game can be made out of it, and probably should be. Buy this game to support this awesome developer... and hope he doesn't fumble his next greatest hit... this is one of his experimental rough drafts that somehow made it to production. Buy this game to gain insight into the mind of the genius who made Summer Memories. Buy this game for the jokes. But don't buy this game for titillation. Overall, an thoroughly unsatisfying game with some evidence of a great artist.
