I thought the h-aspects of the game were very well done (although the controls take some getting used to). If that's what you're here for, stop reading this. Go get the patch and play the game. I found the story perfectly serviceable, it was a pretty good middle ground between too much or too little. The environments were very well designed. They oddly reminded me of one of those kitschy jigsaw puzzles. The music appears to be ripped from RPGMaker which I understand isn't everyone's cup of tea; I didn't mind though. The gameplay, on the other hand, controlled well but really didn't have a lot of substance to it. I was able to use the same strategy for most enemies, which was to rush in, use the Slime/Sylph skills for burst damage, and use the basic magic while those were on cooldown. There is a lot of potential build variety, though, so I'm sure I could find something else which would be more fun and hopefully still effective. The two main ways the dev increased the difficulty over the game (outside of health settings) were enemy quantity or bullet hell segments, both of which felt like they were just making things take longer instead. Aside from that, although you get a large amount of progression from befriending girls, I was disappointed that you could theoretically spend the bulk of your playthrough waiting for gathering points to respawn and accruing stats from food alone. You will no doubt have hundreds of unusable skill points at the end of the game, regardless. Speaking of waiting, I found the panties sidequests to be incredibly tedious if you hadn't been farming levels for the main cast. Overall, my needle (pun not intended, haha) falls on the "Yes" side of the barometer despite the aforementioned complaints. The general experience feels pretty good, but I wouldn't consider it very memorable.

I'm no Side-Scrolling Monster Girl Battle-Fuck Action RPG expert, but if this is the kind of game this genre offers, I would invest heavily into it if I wasn't a peasant. Really good combat mechanics that reward collecting the girls with a solid variety of monster girls and sprite animations. I'm seriously ready to see more of this kind of game and love the sprite work of Zell23. Huge recommend.

Pretty good game, fun combat and interesting gameplay loop, the only problem I have is the end game, where there is virtually nothing to do, maybe make a New Game+ feature? (Also if you are seeing this, there IS a patch you have to download to make the game nsfw, just look it up)

This is a game where I have a hard time deciding whether to recommend or not, so instead I'll talk about its points and let you decide. Obvious disclaimer: This IS a porn game, and no one should be here by accident, but just in case, better safe than sorry. Succubus Affection is an action platformer game where you control the sole remaining human who was raised in a region populated exclusively with Monster Girls. However, because the genre compels that the monster girls get unbeably frisky at the presence of humans (save for the ones who watched you grow up though the player can choose to engage with them all the same if they'd like ), you and your neighbors are tasked into finding a way to stop the monster girls from getting in heat merely from being in proximity with you. To that end, you enbark on a quest that doubles as training to make sure you can defend yourself and explore the regions around you, looking for monsters who may help you in your quest and/or get you stronger. Most of the gameplay revolves around combat and the system works quite well, despite the simplicity. In order to defeat a monster for good, you need to form a bond with them. As the genre would imply, through fucking. However, you need to defeat them in combat first, because if you're fucked into submission, that counts as a loss. Once you defeat an enemy, you fuck them and they calm down and no longer go in heat. Having a wide range of secondary skills to compliment your basic attacks, there are multiple possible builds and playstyles, having physical attacks damaging their physical resistance and magical attacks charming your opponents. Once their stamina is empty or their charm is full, they are stunned and you can fuck them into friendship. Author note: That is the weirdest sentence I wrote this year, but we keep this ball rolling. Throughout the journey, you will also gather resources which can be used to craft equipment to further customize your playstyle or cook meals which increase your stats. Aside from some RNG in getting certain rarer materials, that should never be a problem to the player. Despite the obvious frisky set up, the game is surprisingly sweet and the characters seem to genuinely care for the protagonist, instead of just lusting after them as this kind of set up would imply. I wouldn't call this the best written story ever, but it's deceptively sweet. That being said, I do need to voice my one main grievance that even now, even though it has all those other qualities that I mentioned, I cannot get over it. The protagonist is very child like. Concerningly so. From the height to what one can imply their age to be based on the cutscenes, you know they're not 10 years old, but by god, they don't look over 14. EVERYTHING ELSE on the game is fine, but this is something I can't get over. The reason my vote is still a recomendation is because I can still be wrong and it could just me being paranoid. I hope that's the case, because this is something that stains my experience in an otherwise phenomenal game. Great game overall, I don't know if the protagonist is underage and thinking about it just makes me more uncomfortable/10
