This game is so fun. But underneath the hilarious animations is a solid beat em up game that keeps you playing. Above all it is a huge fun laugh along friends.

Funny game to play for a day or two. Grab it on sale or leave it be. The visuals remind me of MK and MK II. Game looks gimmicky but has more depth to it than expected. I got it on sale, ran through the campaign and uninstalled it. Worth your while. 6/10

Almost 3 hours into the game, I was told to come back in 10 years, and I immediately alt+f4'd. Only a year and a half to go until I can keep playing.

A really fun arcade-style beat 'em up with great combat. The campaign is really short though, and the story isn't really interesting, but the game more or less makes for it with a survival mode, and having various characters, unlockable characters, and difficulties that give it replay value. The soundtrack's decent, too. Also, you play as the Nostalgia Critic.

You're doing yourself a disservice if you boil this down to "that thing one of the SOR4 studios did that has the nostalgia critic in it" A bombastic and unhinged love letter to brawlers that does so much to stand out in its genre with plenty to keep you busy.
