TLDR: Its beautiful, short and sweet and overall I recommend it but i did have some issues with it Firstly - the music cuts out awkwardly in several scenes during transitions, throwing you out of the mood. And as much as I am a big fan of Austin Wintory's work, I didn't enjoy it so much in this game. At several points, the music feels discordant, like several tracks playing on top of each other. On few occasions I tabbed out of the game to check if I didn't have something playing in the background. Usually I greatly enjoy the discordant, strange and haunting tunes that the game is going for, but this score just didn't click with me. Maybe its my neurodivergent brain, maybe its something with the sound design, I can't say why I had an issue with it. I'm an experienced player who plays usually on normal or hard difficulties, but mid game I switched to easy, since my priority was to experience the art of the game without failures slowing me down. And easy mode greatly reduced the number of encounters where you have to fight more than one enemy which I could not adjust to and found those encounters quite aggravating. So I was greatly relieved that I could adjust my experience with the game. Personally the fighting system clicked, but also still feels a little bit awkward with certain abilities and timings (like the tiny delay on the dodge) but I can't say how someone else would click with the combat and movement system, you gotta try it yourself. I do like that its a parry-based system and switching between two colors makes it feel more dynamic. The game doesn't introduce any new abilities during the course of the story, but its so short that the system never has a chance to feel stale or overstay its welcome. I did not experience any gameplay bugs, only those issues with the music cutting off awkwardly or a single instance of the sound not synching well with the cutscene. The game ran on highest graphics on 75 FPS on my mid-high range PC. Now I can say why I recommend it. You can already see it from the promos, but the game has fantastic art design, great fighting animations and good character animations. Really fun and enjoyable multi-tiered bossfights. A simple and sweet story that doesn't try to be overtly ambitious or complicated, but works perfectly for this kind of game. Game doesn't waste your time with needless padding, its short, concise and to the point. You can comfortably experience it in one sitting. If you don't feel comfortable paying this much for a 3.5 hour experience, catch it on sale. The game also has a challenge mode if the fighting system tickles your fancy, and you can still explore and walk around after you finish the story. As a debut from a new studio, I am very impressed with the result, and as an artist, I am obsessed with the art direction. I would love to see what else they will create in the future and I am glad I bought the game and got to play it.

This game is visually appealing and the gameplay is fun but a little repetitive. There is no one telling you what the story is which I love because it leaves you to your own imagination. One of the annoying things about this game is that enemies besides the bosses are very limited along with their move-sets. After about 15-30 minutes into the game you see all of the enemies you'll see in the game. Now this game is pretty short but It does seem like it drags on just a tad. But one of the best things about this game is that the combat is fun, its almost like a beginners souls like since you have to dodge, parry and attack. The boss fights while they were easy they were pretty fun. I was genuinely excited to fight any enemy, even if they didn't have an extensive move-set. I'd give this a 6/10

Harder than Sekiro, but in a good way. The correct way to play this game is on Intense difficulty. The timings are very tight, but once you get it, parry/deflect is extremely rewarding and feels great, similar to Sekiro:Shadows die twice. The added difficulty comes from color juggling. The boss fights are very interesting, unique, cinematic and mechanically challenging, but also sometimes frustrating. The basic boss fighting game-loop consists of encountering attack patterns once or twice, and then trying to remember which ones comes after an attack clue and of course twitch reactions, so basically like Sekiro. You will die a lot, and that's fine. Expect a combined 20 to 100 min fight at each boss. One good thing about multi-phased fights is that the boss repeats attack patterns you've already learned, so the new phase is like a remix of the old with only a couple extra things. Also, most phases are separate fight, so no need to repeat the first phase (except for one). Peak boss fight was one of the first, with AoE grid pattern attacks, the rest were great, but none were as good at that. Every boss has a character to it and a theme, thus making every boss fight unique and memorable. The rest of the game is also there, but let's be frank, were here for the bosses,. The scenery is amazing, but platforming is lackluster. A lot ledges are annoying to jump, it's very slow. The slow down when landing a jump is also slow and flow-breaking. There is also crouch for some reason. I get why jumping is in the game, but crouch is completely unnecessary. The regular mobs are a mixed bag. It's a good introduction to fight mechanics, but it's also a slog to fight a lot of them at the same time, but i guess it's there to unlock upgrades so it's fine. Since Sekiro is one of my favourites, I enjoyed Strayed Lights a lot, but could be not the case for everyone. I'd give it a 8/10

For me, with only 2 hours yet, this game is really incredible ! The Art style looks amazing and omg, the work for the FXs is just wonderful... The gameplay is really nice too, that's cool introduction to the Soul's Like There is maybe some point to improve but the major part of the game is a real pleasure and for a first game, if I looked correctly, this is so Good !!! Great work from the Team !

I usually don't like games that require parry I'm terrible at it, but thus game deuterium requires it but is not impossible like I feel some other games are. About halfway through and really liking it so far
