The game's main campaign mode is up there next to Company of Heroes 1 & StarCraft II campaign for me in terms of how much fun it is. There aren't many RTS games with good campaign and Starship Troopers is a breath of fresh air after so many years.

Always wanted a Starship troopers game, never knew I'd see it as a rts. This is definitely a must buy. They pull units from multiple movies and bugs I've never see before into this game. It's equal parts challenging and fun, with each mission feeling different from the last and introducing you to each unit type in succession. If you're severely lacking in "C'MON YOU APES! YOU WANNA LIVE FOREVER?!?" buy this game!

I'm Doing My Part! A fun little RTS. Decent length campaign with fun mechanics and a trove of community generated content. Would You Like To Know More? Pros: -Units are all pretty thematic to the universe -Units vary enough to put together multiple strategies -Solid Visuals -Lots of community content including some real gems. -Full scripted editor Cons: -AI is a little buggy at times, goes for both Friendly and Arachnid units -Unit strengths and stats are poorly explained Join Up Now!

As a gigantic fan of the (first) movie growing up, I feel really stupid not picking this up sooner. You literally start off on the fight of Klendathu in a mini recreation of that battle lol. The units, descriptions, quotes and conversations and even the UI are **perfect** throwbacks and love letters to the over-the-top moments and feel of the movie. Its honestly great so far and just playing with a big stupid grin on your face. Seriously, if you are even a minimal fan of the movie pick this up. If you love RTS, it has some unique features such as line-of-sight firing angles for depth of defense and firing. Its honestly pretty cool how they worked it in from the movie "Hey Breckinridge clear the line of fire". Feels like a good mix of offense and moving while having cool set pieces and moments of defense/tower defense. The defensive moments and set ups are particularly fun and feel like somethign like 'They are billions' and TD games in general as you set up your troops and build up defenses. Those moments really feel borrowed from the movie as wave after wave of seemingly endless bugs come at you. This was a game I wish we had in the late 90's as I was desperate for ST games and to stay in that world.
