You need three things to enjoy this game. The fps unlock, resolution fix, and sound bug fix (last 2 levels). And its fun but I do not recommend playing this game on hard (Sith Lord) or very hard (Sith Master) (explanation below). I posted the link to the fixes https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=386753467. Explanation: The game isn't difficult on harder difficulty it is more annoying from being stun locked and insta killed from AT-ST variants and the Purge Troopers, last mission opening area is notorious for this. The real way to play this game is smoke a bowl or pound a couple of bud lights on normal difficulty and murder some imps. The only way to reliable kill the difficult enemies is by stun-locking them which defeats the purpose of the game where it is designed as a "hack & slash" where movements is key to the fun. The boss fights follow a similar dilemma where you can't use all your abilities to defeat most bosses (especially Kazdan Paratus second mission boss) where you can only kill the boss through stun locking via force lightening not using all mechanics the developers included in the game. Still recommend but don't play the higher difficulties if your masochist who likes to waste their time.

First off, I have a lot of nostalgia for this game, having played it many times when it first came out over 15 years ago. It's a good story with fun missions. With that being said, this game has not aged particularly well in it's current form. So be prepared for that, especially if you've played games like Jedi: Fallen Order & Jedi: Survivor. I hope one day this game will get a full remake with additional missions as the campaign feels a lot shorter than I remember.

You can shock people and give them seizures, especially the Jawas! ESPECIALLY THE JAWAS! You get all of the DLC missions and skins, and wow, there's more costumes for this guy than some multiplayer games. Ran perfectly on Steam Deck. I adjusted the resolution to 1280x720 so visuals don't appear stretched. Other than that, perfect.

If you're a Steam Deck owner turned off from purchasing this game due to its "Unsupported" rating, don't be. I played through the opening Darth Vader level, and everything worked great! The game and cutscenes ran smoothly. When I first booted the game up, there was an option to choose between Xbox and keyboard controls. Choose Xbox, and you're good to go! For best video results, I recommend turning on FSR or forcing the game to run at 1080p. The Steam Deck can't show 1080p, but I noticed a difference in video and font quality. As for the game itself, it's a fun story where you get to experience what it would be like if Sith did not hold back. It can get repetitive at times, and the story is mostly skin-deep, but it's a fun time. I can't speak to the bugs and glitches that other users have mentioned playing it on a PC, but I would imagine that those would still be prevalent on Steam Deck, so that might be something to keep in mind. May the Force be with you!

During the last two months of 2023, I decided to do a retrospective and rewatch all the Star Wars movies and a little bit from the shows. I can confidently say that the best things in Star Wars are outside the movie franchise. This game was terrific and holds up really well even to this day. The flashbacks I got entering cheat codes I haven't had to look for in well over 10 years were enough to make the game worth it. But it still doesn't feel dated stepping into the shoes of Starkiller and replaying his story as an adult, I wish they did more with his story and the only compatibility issue I had was resolution size but that's because I play on a 2K monitor.
