Great game. Better lightsaber combat than the newer games. Fun story. Very satisfying. Better story than the Disney "sequels"

It's an okay sequel to Jedi Outcast, but it feels more like an expansion. It retains the same cool Outcast game mechanics (lightsaber fights and Force powers), but now we can also customize our character and lightsaber. The story is not quite as interesting or engaging. If you are a fan of the series (or Star Wars in general), get this game. If not, then just get Jedi Outcast. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3251414999

Beyond worth for Modded Single and Multiplayer content such as Movie Battles II. Some of best innovative gameplay to hit Star Wars... well, ever.

This is a 20+ year old game that still somehow kicks ass in modern age of gaming Overall this game plays like a arena shooter, the base game has the best lightsaber combat out of all Star Wars games. It gives you that power fantasy you've probably been looking for in a game that lets you use a lightsaber and duel. It's main story is pretty cool but Movie Battles is the best way to play this if you're looking for real saber combat. Movie Battle servers could use a lot more people. The mod Movie Battles enhances the experience by letting you join servers with a still very much alive and VERY skilled community (even after all these years).

In the broadest terms, this is the best Star Wars game ever. It does not have the storytelling of KOTOR II, nor the boundless force abilities of The Force Unleashed, or the fancy graphics of the newer games. But it lets you use a lightsaber in a way that no other Star Wars game has ever managed to really capture. There's a setting you can tweak in the game files that allows for complete dismemberment, making lightsaber fights into very serious affairs that can leave you or your foe cut into pieces. Which is to say nothing of the settings and the force abilities and platforming. It feels the same way as it does when you watch A New Hope or Revenge of the Sith. It's my hope that a modder or someone with real talent in game creation can use the bones of this game to make a galaxy-crawling adventure game based on this engine where you can pilot a ship across the Star War Galaxy, picking up friends and solving problems or causing trouble. That's the only thing this game was really missing. Something Mount and Blade esque. It's saddening that a 20 year old game figured this out better than EA can today. 10/10. It's cheap, and you'll have a great time.
