Overall Rating: 8/10 TL/DR: This game has been worth every penny and it's one of the games I return to often when I need a break from something else. I will never regret this purchase. Story: The overall story is pretty amazing. You play as a city person whose moved to a small town and eventually you get dragged into opening up a bathhouse to make some spirits happy. Its very, Stardew Valley meets Spirited Away and I absolutely love this concept so so much. Gameplay: The overall gameplay is very user friendly. There's not long tutorial to learn or understand so you can just jump right into playing the game. There are also weird Easter Eggs here and there that I find pretty fun. There are both quests and fun mini games so I never feel lost or unsure of what my next step is. Its a very fun immersive experience. Graphics/Art: I'm a sucker for a good pixel art game, but there's still such a whimsical quality about it. This game has taken such a familir art style and added something so unfamiliar to it making it such an amazing blend of comfort and quality. Best/Worst Qualities: I don't have anything negative to say about the game. It has a fun little add in of certain things being choice based which is nice. I love the ability to collect smaller objects for shrines that unlock certain things. The personalities of the spirits are fun to learn and being able to have relationships with the NPC's instead of them just being fillers. Final Thoughts: This is a must have for any RPG players that appreciate smaller indie style games. Also, this discord community for this game is a must join. The people there are so friendly and willing to help with tips and tricks for a fun experience.

It's coming up to this games 1 year anniversary so i figured i should share my thoughts on it I have 28 hours on record of this game & I am still yet to finish it. Whilst I don't doubt that that is largely due to my own incompetence, it does show that this game has genuinely a lot to offer. Its so refreshing to have a cosy game that isn't just another farming sim (don't get me wrong i love stardew valley but come one guys, we have enough farming sims to last us a lifetime). Whilst growing plants is something you can do it is not essential to the game and takes up little time, especially when compared to games similar to it. I understand that a lot of people decided not to buy this game because of the "No one is streaming our game :(" situation but i promise you this game is worth putting that aside. Don't let it get in the way of you enjoying a fantastic game.

8/10: It's like a combination of Stardew Valley and Spiritfarer, but set in Japan. I also love that it's not a farming game at all! The storyline for each spirit was superb. =) Areas for improvement: - More items to spend money on, which would motivate running the bathhouse more, e.g., upgrades or repairs outside the bathhouse etc. - A quicker way to use tools. Currently, you have to open your backpack and then select the tool you want to use. - Descriptions for each item. - An instruction manual that you can access at any time (on how to use this and that). - A list of fish/bugs that you have already captured (not just how they look). - The collection of spirits should be in alphabetical order.

Spirittea is ok, unfortunately that is all I can give it at this point (more detailed criticism below). My overall thoughts are that the game is great for a couple of weeks of casual play and the concept is great, but unfortunately it feels overall unfinished. It is too easy in terms of gameplay and too hard in terms of puzzles sometimes, and I really wish there was more to it. If the game had been early access I might have been nicer in my criticism, but as it stands right now it could really do more. I still have a few things to finish, but don't know if I will just because I have gotten bored with the repetitiveness. Why the game is fun and I would recommend it: [*] The concept is great and if you are a Ghibli fan or enjoy whimsical and cute games then you will love it! [*] There is a large variety of awesome spirits to discover and it's fun figuring out which ones can bathe where. [*] The music is lovely and the art style is simple but sweet! [*] Some of the mini games are fun! What bothers me: [*] Accessibility and user experience are not great (I know the game prefers you to use a controller but not everyone has one and playing it on keyboard can at points just be ridiculous) [*] The concept is great, but execution feels mediocre (While the bathhouse part of the game is well thought out, the rest feels a tad unfinished, activities like fishing are annoying and it does nothing except for the fish that are for cooking and the fact that you can get all fish from anywhere just feels lazy, having to buy most ingredients is a tad boring, etc.) [*] The puzzles are either very easy or rather hard (at some point I got so annoyed running in circles and trying to figure things out that I just googled a lot which took a lot of enjoyment away, I did not want a massive puzzle game!) [*] Characters are rather simple (do not expect much character development at this point, they are a means to an end to help you at the bathhouse and that's it) [*] I am sorry but I really dislike Wonyan These are my personal thought and I am being rather critical probably because I was so incredibly excited for it and felt a tad disappointed. Others might think differently though and I do think the game can be fun at times!

i really liked playing this game. but the bathhouse was always way to grindy even after you get all the helpers. half the time at the end of the night i would just sit there and wait for people to leave. also i ended up beating the game before i got all the spirits, i ended up sleeping for like 20 days to get to winter to get the last ones. there really isn't much to do after that
