A fun chill experience that I've found myself coming back to on occasion multiple times over the decade that I've owned it.

This is such a simple, fun, and chill game. You don't have to rush things, just take it at your own speed. The music is simple, and very relaxing. It's best played in small amounts. 30 minutes here, 20 there, it's a nice way to just have some fun, and chill.

I used to play this game all the time on my phone. I bought it many years ago and put a ton of hours in it. I know I don't have a ton of time logged here on Steam, but trust me when I say I had a lot of fun with this in the way back when. This doesn't really seem like the kind of game that you sit down and play for long periods of time until you 'beat' it. This is the kind of game you put some music on, or some kind of talk show on YouTube on, and mess around with. Sometimes you just do stuff just to do it; sometimes you try to see how big of a system you can build; sometimes you chase after the random little challenges that are built into the game. The idea is stellar evolution: starting from the bottom, the very beginning, and working your way to the top - the very end. You begin as an asteroid, bumping into other asteroids to add them to your mass. Once you get big enough, you're a planet - and now adding mass is a little more difficult. Now you must get asteroids to orbit you and suck them down to add to your mass. Get big enough, and your planet will evolve life, and now you've got a planet shield and little space ships running around your planet! Continue to add mass and you'll turn into a star - now you can get multiple life-bearing planets in orbit around you, each with its own space force. You can soon become a formidable foe, attacking other star systems and obliterating them! Continue to add mass and you'll turn into a neutron star... continue to add mass and you'll literally turn into a black hole. At this point, your primary goal is to consume the entire universe before an even bigger black hole consumes you. Add enough mass as a black hole, and the entire universe collapses in on itself in a 'big crunch'... and then explodes outward again in a brand new Big Bang. It's really a lot of fun. There's some basic Newtonian physics, but this isn't all that much of an actual scientific 'simulator.' It's kind of arcade-y physics. But that's all right - it feels fine and is fun to play. As stated, you mostly just screw around - try to get a really big system built, or maybe see if you can pull off weird stuff with other star systems, or use your space force to go to war.. You can also play around with the challenges, etc. While the missions are plenty fun, the real joy is just in the screwing around. I know that's not generally a huge 'lure' for games, but in this case it's just plain fun to mess around in this weird little space world. As stated, I had tons of fun back in the day doing just that. Graphics are simple yet somehow pretty. Music is soothing and has a great flow. Sound effects are pretty on point. Challenges are silly and sometimes hard. Overall a lot of fun. Is it worth full price? Having got a lot of time out of this game on my phone, I was happy to pay full price for this. I would iike to think others would be ok paying full price as well. Overall great game and was so happy to find it again on Steam so I could enjoy it all over again.

I love the game. I love the graphics, music, the progression system! I only hoped there would be mods! The vanilla game feels easily short - unless I want to keep building stars!
