took me over five minutes to get to the church that was near me at spawn (this is a good thing as this is a snail simulator). shortly after i made it to the church, i looked away from my computer briefly and then heard a woman singing. I looked over to see youtube had opened to "take me to snurch" and it had me and my friend in tears. ive jumped over 250 times. ive barely gotten a few sneet away from spawn and im already in love. i can't wait to explore everything this snorld has to offer.

Snail Simulator is a chill online game where all players control their own snail. You can (slowly) explore the beautiful open world or you can pick a favorite spot and stick around there. While travelling you'll find collectibles that you use to customize your snail. You might just bump into another snail and brighten up their day by greeting them with a hearty 'Hello!'. In the world you will also find challenges (+achievements), inside-jokes and secret areas. A while ago I gifted the game to an unsuspecting friend and he laughed out loud multiple times because of the goofy fun there is to be had in the game! The world itself is very lush and green and together with the day/night cycle and the weather effects it can really set a nice atmosphere! Most of the time the game doesn't require your full attention so it's perfect for playing next to a more intense game or while watching a movie/series; perfect for zoomers who require multiple streams of input to keep them distracted. Or you could of course take it real slow and give your full attention to your slimy friend! I bought the game because as a meme because it was a boring day at the office and it looked funny and goofy (and it is!). During my dull work day I now had a small friend that I could watch slowly slime their way through the pretty world. I didn't think much of it at first but it turned out to be a wholesome and endearing game, that made me want to explore every corner of it! The accompanying Discord server is a welcoming place for slimy souls looking for lighthearted chatter and snaily discussions. The folks in there are friendly and willing to help you out with the game or you can discuss the development. Here we also plan snail parties, during which try to beat the record for most snails online at the same time! And of course there is a ton of snail content to be found in the Discord. Word of advice: better to not mention the Growl. 10/10 would snecommend!

This game has filled a void I never knew I had. I would be NOTHING without this game. 10/10. Slow down, take it easy, and enjoy life as a snail. Snail is life <3

Travel patiently through realms previously unseen and unimagined by man; cordially greet other snails as you pass by; ride the emotional rollercoaster of shouldering the snail's Sisyphean experience of incredibly slow movement, followed by the euphoria of jumping so high that you are blasted into the void; be glamorous in a stunning array of colorful shells and hats. This game is a must-have for anyone who has ever wondered what it means to be a gastropod.
