Somehow this game wasn't on my radar for it's entire early access period, and those many years I missed out on Snacko shall remain a regret that I take to my grave. This game is a masterpiece. Flat out. Snacko is the definition of a hidden-gem. I bought it for my wife, as she loves Stardew (don't we all) and now I haven't seen her in four days. She's putting in 8 hour shifts of Snacko and loving it. I've been playing it when I can (once she goes to bed lmao) and also having a blast. We are obsessed. If you enjoy Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, games of that style; cozy, farming/life-sims, then you will adore Snacko. The best thing about it though, is how much depth it brings to the genre, it isn't just a clone of those games; it is brimming with many new, fresh ideas. The quest system is staggeringly impressive; you constantly have so much to do, and it's all enjoyable, the building is unlike any other game I've played and very interesting, the mining is also super unique, just the start of so many praises that I could sing for this game. Honestly it is fantastic, and if you enjoy a farming game, please give it a chance, you will not be disappointed. This is the perfect little cozy game. Although, seeing as I've played it for 99.9 hours now, I guess "little" might be the wrong word! It's got a cute story, tons of things to do, hilarious quest lines (and item descriptions) and is such a great balance of relaxing and attention-grabbing. Oh and also, the devs are AWESOME - congrats on 1.0 guys!!

This is really cute and fun game with a dev team that is very responsive and helpful. Just recently I had an issue with my game where basically, it had let me place down a duplicate of a house and it wouldn't let me delete either one. I made a post about it on the subreddit to see if there was something I was missing & one of the devs answered my post within an hour or two & offered to fix my save file for me to remove the second house (they also released a hotfix patch the same day I posted that prevents you from doing this anymore). I ended up not taking them up on it since it turns out the extra house doesn't cause any game breaking issues but I really appreciated that they were more than willing to fix it & they also sent detailed instructions on how to send over the save file to them. I can't recommend this game enough, especially if you like cozy games with cute animal characters.

snacko is such a unique amazing game. its sort of like stardew valley and animal crossing but has so many unique features. seeing my town go from abandoned and uninhabited to populated and all decorated was so satisfying and this game has great building and customisation and i cant wait for more items to be added. buy this game you wont regret it
