I've played quite a lot of Sketchy's now and I've got to say, among this genre of game, I think it stands a cut above the rest. I've been able to have a chaotic, unpredictable and hilarious time with my friends for many hours whilst also being able to get quite focused and enjoy the game in a solo environment as well! Like other's in the genre, the game focuses on completing quotas for "the company" by collecting "loot" from the various planets all with different environments and challenges. But there is so many extra layers of content added above this standard core loop. Collecting outfits, plushies, charms, pets etc gives the player plenty to keep them busy. The claw machines in the hub world give the player something to do in-between missions and help set the tone of the game itself. It doesn't take itself too seriously but the game still manages to jump me every time I play it, and I don't jump easily! There is a lot of hidden detail to the mechanics and once you start to get a hang of the main game it just becomes increasingly awesome in my opinion. A solo developer who is constantly adding new content. The Halloween event was SO cool with a haunted house, a new themed map and a bunch of exclusive collectables and rumour is the winter event is going to be just as amazing! I genuinely believe this is the best game within this genre and I would highly recommend anyone give it a chance, especially if you're looking for a new game to play with a few friends! Sound design is great, game looks great, game play is fantastic and I still feel like I have so much more to explore! I've only encountered the occasional minor bug which considering it's early access, the game plays incredibly well. Overall, excellent game and worth your time!

I've seen some people say this is an asset flip and it's not, but maybe this term is just applied to anything using store assets these days. Buying assets to put into your game is pretty normal for indie games since they don't have a giant studio behind them to create their own. There is actual gameplay and it's great fun to play with friends. Personally I enjoy it more than Lethal Company so far. There are a couple of maps with different enemies and they are currently being overhauled. Updates are constantly coming and unlike Lethal Company you have a sort of long term progression and can work towards stuff like pets. That being said it pretty much is the same gameplay loop, so only fun for a few rounds for us before we move on to something else or call it a night.

Great game! Takes a bit to get used to and learn the gameplay loop but this is so much more than a "Lethal Company clone", this in many ways goes deeper than that! The option to stay overnight and try to make it deeper into security levels is such a fun way of keeping you motivated to keep playing. Highly recommend it, just go in with a open mind and patience to learn how to survive as it's definitely not a forgiving game.

Really fun Lethal-Company-like. More Flamingos, better pixels, Papa Johns.

For an early access game, this game has a LOT of potential as it grows. It is, but isn't lethal company. So please do not go into this expecting the exact same type of experience. It isn't procedurally generated, but is similar in that you land on a planet, you loot, you scoot, and try to do the latter with your lives intact. For the currently available worlds, they are quite well made, and very visually interesting to explore, though on the smaller side. I would love to see them expanded upon, and even larger, maybe with multiple facilities on each world to loot. This games gives an ever so slightly more chill, but at times quite scary experience. You aren't just limited to searching the facility during the day - You have the option to stay over night and risk it all for even better rewards, and even more dangers lurking in the night. There is decent monster variety, and other things to do besides just looting a facility and killing monsters. You can go searching for buried treasure, mine, and harvest plants if you don't want the scares in a group so much, and still contribute to the team. You also, if you can manage to recover them, bring your friends back to life, so they aren't just left spectating the entire game if they die early on. After completing a contract, you also get currency to spend on more than just items. Play the crane game (which is just as rigged as real life), or spend a few tokens at the gotcha machines for charms to add to your weapons. Once you have gained these items on your save file, even if you fail a contract, and reap the consequences that go with it, you still keep all your things, so it isn't a total loss, start from 0, which I really love. If you DO survive, you are also rewarded with Perk Points that you can spend at the suit in the ship, to gain bonuses to HP, O2, Stamina, Flashlight, and Melee damage, so you CAN have some variety, and specialize yourself for different tasks. Points are not locked, so you are free to shift them around at any time. As for bugs, there have been many. It IS early access after all. I will say though, that for all the bugs that I have reported, the Dev has been VERY receptive, and VERY fast to fix them as they have been brought up. They have detracted from the game a bit at times, but seeing how fast they have been fixed, it really isn't troublesome, and seeing them fixed the next time you play is always nice. This boosts my opinion greatly. I definitely recommend this game, and I can't wait to see how it grows.
