I'm not even sure what to say here. I've never really cared for COD zombies, haven't bothered playing any of them except for the few times the boys asked me to hop on back in the day on Xbox (World at War, Black Ops, Black Ops 2). So it really fucking surprised me that I've put 15 hours into this game, beaten all maps on Normal, done most on Hard, and even done one solo on Nightmare. It's a lot of fun, which, again, surprised me to no end. It's janky, it's wonky, but it's endlessly charming in my opinion. For a small studio, this game is pretty great. The business model is also great, all new maps and weapons are free content drops, only cosmetic packs are sold as DLC. I bought it full price and I haven't regretted it. Do I recommend it? Hard to say, some people might be put off by the jank, and some people might not care about the whole COD-zombies-like formula (which I don't, for the most part). All in all, a solid 7.5/10 I guess. Really fun. Edit: Having now beaten all base levels solo on all difficulties (including the Nightmare EE's on them), all I have to say is G fucking G, this game is fantastic.

devs PLEASE allow me to change the fov of the gun itself or decrease the model size, everything else is super fun and makes for a good coop zombie game but i cannot handle reloading taking up the entirety of my screen update: they actually did it

Want to play COD Zombies but tired of the same old things over and over? THIS GAME IS FOR YOU. Enemy movement is closer to the like of Killing Floor 2 but in a good way. Well balanced maps, weapons, enemies, bosses too! Objectives to achieve during round based zombies game play. Buy back options for teammates you couldn't get to before they bleed out. Smooth game play without lag, stutters, or glitching. Easily better play ability than any COD Zombies to date. Weapon upgrades (pack-a-punch), perks, Lucky dog (Mystery box), and even melee weapons! There is no shortage of ways to kill the hordes in this fps, what more could you want? Cosmetics? ...Yeah, they have that too!

It's crazy how a game by 5 people greatly surpasses the immense amount of resources Activision shoved at the pathetic MW2 DMZombies mode. The base game comes with 4 maps and I've been having fun with it. It is certainly no Black Ops zombies, but it's the best we've have since Cold War.

After tweaking some settings to get decent performance, game is amazing! If the devs ever see this, my only suggestion would be to add +XP pop ups on screen for opening doors etc, it tickles the grinding part in my brain. Love to see the XP popping up when I accomplish goals!
