Better than Death in the water 1 FOR SURE much better graphics, visuals, and music. It's nowhere near as good as Death in the water 2 but there is lots of trophies to collect. shooting the sharks isn't as satisfying & realistic. you can only hunt sharks nothing else theirs no treasures to find and no upgrades to progress worth getting but death in the water 2 is the one you want.

Quite a fun game. Nice enough diversity with its maps, a couple of different weapons to choose from, and playing as a shark can be pretty fun. Would recommend if you have a few mates to play with.

I Showed You My Speargun, Please Respond Dead game Underwater Shark Attack Deathmatch 2 is an empty pvp game. Barely anyone plays it now, so convince your friends to grab a copy if you ever decide to dive and shoot sharks. The game only has 2 spearguns and 1 type of grenade, but quite a few good looking drowned maps to choose from. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3257756980 SAD 2 (kek) has pvp and coop modes, you either shoot everyone (up to 8 players) or swim together in a romantic duo. One can also assume a shark role and command a bunch of lesser fishes to hunt down divers, while you admire massive teeth! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3255801073 Minimum fun on its own, slightly enjoyable with a bunch of people.

here's the thing: i can't in good faith say that shark attack deathmatch 2 is a good game. the online functionality is broken, you can only invite friends to an already started session because if you create a lobby, then invite people to that lobby and then click start, your friends will stay in the lobby while you swim alone with sharks that move like my drunken uncle at every quinceañera celebrated in the family. that said, shark attack has one interesting feature that separates it from other cooperative FPS games, and that is that its shooting is not hit scan based, but based around the projectile itself (think of soldier in TF2), so you have to keep weight and trajectory (and environment because we're underwater) in mind. this has brought my SO quite a lot of glee, and he had an incredible time with the game, and everything that brings him joy brings me joy. he killed me seven times in a row. we were supposed to hunt the sharks. in shark attack. but his laugh is similar to what a harp played by an angel must sound like, so it was fine. as such, as an act of love, i'm giving freaking shark attack deathmatch 2 a positive review.

It's unique given that I haven't played many underwater shooters. The gameplay is fairly mediocore though, but I think it's interesting enough of a concept to have it in your library.
