Shadow Warrior 2 took a step back from the Shadow Warrior series becoming a looter shooter for no reason and Shadow Warrior 3 took it back. This is what you should be expecting from a Shadow Warrior game, a linear FPS with some fun weapons and raunchy humor. I was hesitant to get this because the reviews were even worse than 2 which I did not like but it's a return to form. This is basically what Shadow Warrior 2 should have been. The game is rather short at just about 5 hours to complete so grab it on sale but it's definitely a lot of fun. I just wish the katana combat was more focused like it was in the original.

Shadow Warrior 3 is the third installation of the Shadow Warrior trilogy. Unfortunately, it was also the weakest child of the family. While I mostly enjoyed it, there are several issues that just brings the game down a grade. There are some bugs that are quite annoying, unlimited waves of enemies until I had to reload the checkpoint, some wall clipping issues, issues that didn't even exist in Shadow Warrior 1 and 2. The story was really short as well. Nonetheless, this game is action-packed and I love the gore that fills my whole screen up. I love the weapon choices and upgrades, they complement the game really well. I got this game heavily discounted so I got my worth out of it. I would recommend this game if you are looking for some mindless fun, although it was only satisfactory because we had such banger games in Shadow Warrior 1 and 2.

What Happened WANG?!?!!! They Brought My Little Wang Back In Time... Going to put up this review now even with my low hours in it, mostly due to the Sale going on atm. Now answering the "Is this game good" question, its OK. Truth, I liked the direction they took with SW2 and its Borderlands approach or looter shooter approach. This one is more like the first SW (2013) game ( Not the old school ones). The games graphics are good and the game runs pretty good. So, I have no issues with this stuff. One issue that stands out is the timing of most of the dialog when heading into the cut scene, the dialog doesn't have time to catch up before you enter a cut scene, so some of the humor is lost due to entering the cut scenes. Best thing to avoid this is slow down a bit when Wang is talking... OK, lets talk Price! Is it worth the $49.99 price tag.... NO... by no means. BUT!!! If you own SW and SW2 and get the loyalty discount for owning them and them being on sale and brings this one down to $5.99, then YES by all means complete the collection and you will get your $6 bucks out of it that's for sure . This one plays more like Serious Sam, so if you like that game or series from back in the day, you most likely will enjoy this one. I would love to see more Shadow Warrior games, I just kind of hope they bring it back to SW2's looter shooter. Truth again, this one just feels basic and feels like a step back...

If you consider this game not as a Shadow Warrior sequel, but rather a spin-off, it is an ok game. It doesn't have a great story and combat is ok. Buy it on a sale and finish it in ~5 hours. All said and done, I loved 2nd game’s fighting style. Even tho it was a looter-shooter, the katana and gun play were so fun and satisfying. It didn't feel clunky like most looter games. Copy your own previous stuff instead of copying what other games are doing for the next game please.

This is one of the worst sequels of all the time , throwed what made the series great and chased trends instead wanting to be a DOOM clone , however if you look it at as a standalone game it can be pretty fun run and gun shooter , pretty short though , grab it on a good sale.
