Short and straightforward. A few zones are quite odd and much harder than the rest of the game. To beat it, you really need to focus on movement and properly utilize double wielding.

crisp visuals, performance is a solid 90 fps even on my mid range pc, and the guns are really fun to use in vr. probably the best $2 ive spent on steam

I have now played trough serious Sam for the first time. After trying to play through it multiple times traditionally. I really enjoyed it. Things to know tough. *You probably need to play around with both controller bindings in StreamVR as well as the VR settings in game to make it control as you want. Since it's made for Vive wands it has some really weird ideas on how to control the game if you use a more modern controller like the knuckles or any quest controller. *Quick save is your friend. This game have been crashing quite a bit for me. Unknown reason why. *You can actually turn off the lens flare. If you go in under custom graphics settings you can disable it in the bottom of that menu.

I swear to god that it's the best VR adaptation on par with Hl 2 VR. I don't have motion sickness at all. So I had to get rid of all the bullshit. Like reduction of FOV, activate smooth turn, moving with head, continue walking. And as pput the graphics tio the max and voila! The fastest VR game I ever played, even faster than HL2. Smùooth sailing. I couldn't stop, I didnt even stop to smoke. I had to force myself to stop. We need more fast FPS like this. Serious Sam in VR is a thousand time better than it was on flat. The fact that you can use two guns at the same time, changes everything. And for once it's useful cause it is Serious Sam. You never reload in this game. Like in Doom. I bought all the three games. It's on. Do the same guys, you won't regret it.

8/10 A descent port of of Serious Sam TFE with some odd design choices that hurt the game. Duel wielding breaks it, as does the fact that shotguns can fire as fast as you pull the trigger and none of the weapons need to be reloaded. Still, while I prefer the base game, Its a fun way to replay a great game. I just wish they had put a bit more time into it and not based it off the fusion version.
