One of the strengths this game has - you can play it casually or you can "grok" the numbers to maximize the final few percentage points of advantage. The game plays smoothly. The map creation kit and scenario designer are easy to use, yet pay attention to details as there are subtlety under the hood. Included are many scenarios, campaigns with much replay value. The workshop contains many more of varying quality to test your skills. More options are promised by the developer with regard to the games future development. All in all this is a good solid buy for a Squad/Tank based game.

Nice game, great tools for people to make scenarios. Play it as you would Advanced Squad Leader (I.e. Cover, Rate of Fire, Smoke etc etc) and you will not freak out about how the RNG is screwing you. Learn to play - enjoy the ride. Oh and read the manual. It will solve a lot of concerns. Effort was put into explaining why things work certain ways and how to interpret the data on the screen.

If you like ASL, you’ll probably love this game. I certainly do! But it’s also fun on its own, and is a hexboard game in 3-D, which is someone always fantasized about. It requires thought and tactics and is infinitely replayable. It’s just an outstanding game system.

Good fun tactical level game; units are unique enough and the different scenarios and levels of challenge all makes a fun game. In a way it's a relaxing game to play as you can pause at any time.

As an old ASL player finally having a digital version (well close any way) is a real joy. In addition i really appreciate that the developer isn't a cheap money grubber, the recent FREE British forces update as well as the full scenario FREE unlock upgrades are more than welcome and appreciated. finally the detailed road map has ALL the items I'm looking for not in the V1.0 of the game. Off board artillery, air power and PBEM. Not for everyone, bot those who know this is a fantastic game and worth the price of admission. Highly recomended.
