I mainly play Detective Mode because I'm not good at managing spooks lol, I just like investigating. I love all the unique character files though. Not for this game but as a side note I'd love to see Adam tackle a management sim a la Lobotomy Corporation in the future, it'd be really cool :)

I got this game for a few reasons, #1: I love well done home invasion games (of which there are very few), and Reflect Studios makes the best ones. #2: The game's gameplay loop is much more interesting than Welcome to the Game 2, Reflect Studio's best game, and I really enjoy solving the cases and compiling the evidence while defending my house. However, there are some negatives I would like to touch on. This game cannot be beaten on normal mode without a guide on the cases or a ton of prior knowledge on the cases. I really dislike that. Tanner is so aggressive, the Kidnapper is so aggressive, and things are always getting in your way when you're really trying to think about the cases. I hate how Tanner sometimes plays his audio cue a bit after spawning, so that it's way too late when you hear the grass crunching and you go into the cameras. The Kidnapper is also too aggressive on the later nights, and there is a bug where the Kidnapper instakills you at the start of the night very frequently, if he gets opportunity:spawn=True and window:open=True. Thankfully I downloaded Insym's patch so that this doesn't happen, but yeah, what a terrible bug. I've only beaten Normal mode in this game twice ever, whereas I've beaten Welcome to the Game 2 on Normal mode about 12-14 times and 1337 once. There's a reason for that. Welcome to the Game 2 is more fun, more atmospheric, and you have much more time to settle in before you get attacked by killers. Here, they are rampant. This game is overall good, but it's got some stinging issues that need to be addressed. Overall a good game, but fairly flawed. B+ 8/10

I really love this game so much! So far, I only play detective mode so I can just focus on the investigating. The only thing I would complain about is the rootkit. I have shaky hands, and trying to move the slide to the right spot in like 4 seconds is practically impossible!! I would love it if even a couple more seconds were added so that I could have a better chance at getting it. But other than that, this game is AWESOME!!
