I'd gotten the original Savant - Ascent back when it was, like, genuinely 2 bucks on Steam. I can't actually remember whether I found this song or the music artist it's centered around (the eponymous Savant) first. I.... THINK their song Starfish was included in an EDM megamix I'd used to listen to on Soundcloud that has long-since been deleted. So, when I'd seen a game relating to them, I was VERY baffled, but... thought I'd try it. Best $2 I've ever spent in a video game. Hands down. No contest. The total package of the game is brief and simple, sure, but it's SO HIGH OCTANE. And high value. I'm honestly shocked that they didn't consider it worth $7 minimum on release. At this point, it's $10 if not on sale for the Remix version, and I'd argue that the value is still there. And even though they're separated into two halves, there's more in the Classic Version than I remember as well. (At minimum, this is 1000x more value than any League of Legends skin will ever be.)

Cool game, great music, scared by the high scores, and now friends play it through family share. Good game. Also don't remember buying this so also thanks for upgrade.

Gosh this is a solid and fun game. I just wish I was better at it. It requires focus and quick reaction time. Giving this game for free to owners of the original was a really nice gesture too. Some tracks in the soundtrack are really hype and really add to the fun. Giving them as rewards for killing special enemies is just great. Worth the 10€ ? For me, yes but I also have nostalgia for the first game. I'd say get it if it's on sale or buy it and refund if you don't like it within the refund window.

While the names they decided for the different game modes are a bit confusing since "re-mix mode" is like a toned down version of the original game and the "classic mode" has most of the original powers and some added ones too, it's a nice little game. Before they added the classic mode I would've recommended the original release over this one but now it's overall an improvement I think.
