I bought the game in 2013, and I only played (and finished) it now. It's cool and unique, with strategic gameplay based on traps. Old, but still good.

nice playthru, i enjoyed the story not especially hard to master stylised graphicks but it does not feel too cartonish. more nightmarish would have fitted too, but this is ok lighthearted Also forgot to mention, Short game, total play time reflects 3 playthru's with 100% completion.(33 hours)

This game has some rather rough edges but in general it is a really good game made by a small amount of people. Personally I'd say that those rough edges (the graphics quality, some voice-acting, etc) add to the game's charm but that's just me. One of the points that has me liking this game a lot is the QoL. Every trap comes with a short but clear tutorial on what they do and you can find more info on them in the tooltips. One minor nitpick is that some upgrades from skills do not show up in the tooltips though, like the wolf traps stunning most enemies. What I also like is it allowing you to reset to either the start of the day so you can redo your entire strategy or restart the night. All in all, I think it's a shame this game wasn't successful enough to get the sequel the devs clearly wished for but I do hope some day it will get a remaster or such. Also, it's completely free to own now. Go give it a try!

What a wonderful game, creative and rich with history of Canadians. I bought this game years ago, but I didnt remember for how much. Halfway through my playtime I came to check and was surprised to see that the game is free. Apparently in 2017 the devs decided that they would just reduce the price from $16.99 to nothing. Which I was astounded by. This game, even at the price of 17 bucks, is a fantastic value. At free, its a no brainer to anyone who enjoys a tower defence based game. I thought a lot of the game was very creative, the cutscenes were interestingly designed and were just short and sweet enough to keep your attention. I beat 75% of the game in one playthrough. While most of the missions which I beat on normal difficulty, were on the easier side of things, that doesent mean it wasent action packed. This game revolves itself around trap placements, and having the character race across the map to deal with enemies when its necessary. Strategy is key to making sure the missions go by without a hitch. It was a nice choice and fit the game very well. My only complaints are that I wish there was a alert in the map planning section to tell you when a new alcohol or musket was available. It was annoying to check the town daily only to see that there was no change in inventory. Also I wish that there was a better early game that allowed more missions with more normal wolves before devolving into werewolves. I loved the idea of having to fight huge packs of wolves rather then just 2 or 3 here and there. Overall, amazing game. Fantastic value especially at free, and its saddening that there hasent been a sequel. Maybe one day.
