Good game, decent controls, fun if you're looking for a Warriors experience. Somewhat lacking in game modes. Story Mode puts you in pre-generated scenarios, Free Mode lets you play through Story Mode scenarios with any character you like, and Survival Mode is an arcade-style tower challenge where you clear objectives while trying to stay a few steps ahead of the timer. Also custom characters, which is a lot of fun.

Fun game. I played Samurai Warriors II growing up and was wanting more. Its a good game. I preferred the way the story was told in the Samurai Warriors 2 more, but its nice to be able to play the game with more modern graphics. The character customization was also good and was what originally made me want to try this one.

First and foremost, Naotora Ii has a glorious pair of fat honkers that sway left and right real good as she runs across the battlefields. All the ladies have cute outfits to wear and there's an entire chapter dedicated to waifus (complete with hot springs bath scene and a sexy dance number at the end) , that you can only unlock after clearing all the other stages, which is fair; they make you fight for the fan service. Way better than the absolute sausage fest that was SW5. Now that we got the important stuff out of the way, this is a Sengoku Musou game, so if you're reading this you probably know what to expect. It's fast, it's flashy, it's over the top, kinda janky at parts but very fun for those who enjoy just relaxing and mashing some buttons sometimes. Though this time the "skill trees" are really cool and the horses function not entirely terribly, which is saying a lot about a Omega Force game. tl;dr: Worth it for Naotora's epic rack.

Samurai Warriors 4 is the most iconic title of the samurai warriors series as well as the first to be available in multiple platforms, it has all of the characters that appear in the previous samurai warriors titles as well as some newer ones that appear in this particular one while enchanching their designs and appearances in some ways. The storyline campaigns are seperated between the clans and follow the path of each one throughout the narrative as well as some of them being interconnected, additionaly other than the main campaigns there are also other alternative campaign scenarios that can be experienced after being unlocked. Moreover there is a good selection of traditional music that accompanies the battles in each zone, making the overall atmosphere feel immersive, overall it is a great title and possibly the best of the samurai warriors series.
