Decades go by and I still have a love of these games, perfect for teaching children problem solving!

Genuinely a very funny game, lots of witty dialogue and funny interactions. I think one issue with these graphic adventure games is impacted by how the gaming landscape has changed, like back in the day you'd play it with a physical CD, which would come with a manual that would guide you. This doesn't exist in the digital version, which is apparent in the fact that some of the puzzles are not intuitive. But with a guide, it's quick and lots of fun to get through and beat the game

Love this game. My Uncle used to play this when i was like 9-10 [1998-1999]. He used to make all the voices because our sound card didn't work. Always a special place for me!

its a classic, but has the same issues with other point and click games of its era, like salutations that are not obvious and convoluted, where guides would be consulted to get anywhere. The humour of this game would often make me smile or chuckle and makes me wish we could get more of these two goofy but charming detectives. I would recommend but have a guide ready just in case.

The sexual tension between Sam and Max is so overwhelming that it sent me into a ten year coma, I only just woke up to write this review. They are so damn Gay it hurts.
