This game is passing under the radar for some reason. Sailing simulation is GOOD, so much that i actually enjoy just sailing around doing nothing. Physics is good, wind changes dynamically, and with simulated waves everything work seamlessy. Combat is fun, some weapons are a bit overpowered and ai companions sometimes dumb, (not that the game is that difficoult, this is a minor complaint). There is also a kind of main quest and it gives a good impression of happening almost 'by chance' and not imposed over the player. Npc are hilarious and the tone is lighthearted. Also other side quests around. Highly suggested to anyone, even if just curious.

Ok the latest update for this is fantastic, true open world exploration mixing Wind Waker exploration and Black Flag style combat. I love how each patch is really adding a lot of value, thank you Devs <3

Fun and comfy little game with a lot of soul, perfect for times when you want to just chill and relax. I also want to point out that as of the latest update, the game is indeed an open world archipelago rather than islands separated by fast travel like it was before

Sailing and ship battles feel great. I like that you aren't playing as any one pirate and that your starting crew can be lost. Sometimes I'm not sure what to do for a quest or I don't understand a tutorial because the dialogue is very silly. I also wish I could skip time to talk to Lightkeepers. Overall: highly recommend.

Pirates x animal crossing. Surprisingly addictive. I do love me a good pirate game. Arrr!
