It is just the cutest game, so much love put into it. You have to like open windows to force close the game, but at least my progress was saved.

This is an extremely creative game and has some of the best presentation I've ever seen in the medium. The concept is you're a kid in school playing a D&D style tabletop RPG that your friend made and the visuals are made up of cardboard structures, paper-mache, and drawings in a notebook. In addition to being stylistically striking, the game also features some surprisingly charming and funny writing. In terms of gameplay, RPG Time switches between a wide variety of genres that ensures it never gets boring, but the quality of these varies wildly. If you're okay with some inconsistent gameplay that feaures very high highs and very low lows as well as a baffling lack of settings (including a way to exit the game without using ALT + F4), this is definitely worth playing. With a little bit of refinement I think this developer can make something really special. 7.5/10

One of the most visually innovative games I've played. The creativity is amazing. The game itself is fun, and has lots of funny moments. Please, make more. This game shines in the industry where the rest falls flat

I honestly can't remember the last time I played a game that was so creative, so downright joyous, and clearly so well-loved by its own creator. The level of detail that was put into every chapter and each "page" was staggering, to the same degree of perusing some of those I-Spy books us Olds might remember. This is a clear love-letter to the RPG and tabletop genres, absolutely worth your time! The only gripe I had was the bizarre lack of game settings and accessibility options (heck, you don't even "unlock" the settings menu until an hour or so into the game) and the complete lack of a "quit to desktop" function.
