"Same encounter, different world." Moon is a young woman who lives an ordinary city life as an office worker. However, because she suffers from depression, she reacts and deals with things in a way that is very different from regular city folk.

When I bought it, I was expecting a made up story about a girl with mental illness, but it turned out to be a real life story. So, I decided to just chill out and enjoy the game. This is a really short and calm story, perfect for your relaxing evening. I like the music, the narrative, and art style, everything fits together very well. You also get simple "gameplay,". When I reached ending, I was initially disappointed. My reaction was something like: "No, no, no! You can’t end it this way. It’s a real life story... why are you lying to me? This can’t just be a happy ending out of nowhere." But it turned out to be a really decent ending for such a short game (Not so happy). 8/10

I reccomend this game if it's on sale. There are a number of great moments, the art is really nice, and the brief but simple soundtrack is good. There are also moments where the player is told exactly what is going on, and some segments seem rushed to a conclusion. Some people really hate that the character found faith, but the game does not beat you over the head with this theme so I don't understand those complaints. Maybe it was designed specifically for people without depression, but a lot of the narration stated the obvious, too much for my liking. Still, the intent was clear and worth an hour of my time.

i actually like the slower paced gameplay. fast is kinda the opposite of the point the game is making. walking through the tunnel got a bit repetitive in the last couple of chapters but i liked it overall. artwork is very good too

I'll be quite honest, I had high expectations for this game, but it seemed a bit too slow and, ironically, repetitive. I suppose if the point of this game was that depression can feel like an endless repetitive tunnel where you're stuck in a constant loop, then they've succeeded at making that point. Actually, I eventually stopped reading the notes left in the tunnel all together and tried to rush through them as quick as possible because I felt like these parts after the mini-game were dragged out a bit too much. For this alone, I debated several times if I wanted to finish the game. Some of the game mechanics were really clever and impressive. I enjoyed the little mini-games where you interacted with the environment and it resembled the nuances of depression. The game does advocate for religion (Christianity) and there is a mini-game where you go through a series Bible scriptures. If that makes you uncomfortable, be warned. Overall, the awareness the game brings in regards to how depression take different forms and encourages you to seek help at the end by finding a support system and being proactive in your care. The message of this game is really good. I'd recommend it because I support the messages it conveys. Cute indie game, worth trying at least once but I wish the pace of the game was a tad quicker and it didn't feel like such a chore to finish. Trigger warnings (TW): depression, suicide The game also provides it's own disclaimers upon initiation and throughout the game.

To anyone who is struggling, take it one day at a time. It gets better. Trust me. And no, you are not weak for seeking help. It's a short sweet game with beautiful art and storytelling which capture how it is in ways I can't articulate. Was a therapeutic experience. Easy recommend.
