Incredible game with solid challenge, almost insane by the end of the game. Only con: I wish ammunition didn't deplete across all weapons at once. When I'm fully out, instinct is to switch to another gun to keep the action going only to find every gun is now also empty. Overall stellar game, I'm a harsh arsehole but I'd easily give this an 8/10!

I love this game's use of a steep learning curve, it perfectly fits the boomer shooter gameplay style it's going for and manages to be very satisfying once you get really good. The frustration I got from getting a D on the very first level managed to become my motivation for completing all the levels.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, except Rodney Mullen has a shotgun and is just wasting dudes left and right while pulling sick aerial moves. Rad. (the difficulty curve is pretty damn steep tho.)

Really cool concept for a future sequel to flesh out. It's like you mix Tony Hawk Pro Skater with Max Payne and you get a high action third-person arena shooter with a cel-shaded art style that's all its own. Building combos can be pretty addicting, although it can be a handful with multiple enemies and hazards being thrown at you almost every second in the later levels. The game has a learning curve, although it is more about getting use to multitasking to pull off tricks, grabs, spins, and grinds, while shooting enemies to build combos. All which makes the core gameplay really fun. Story is inoffensive and ok, nice that they made an effort for some lore. Music is good, techno high beats with some tracks I like more than others. My only complaint is that the arena based stages are a little too repetitive and I wish for some more open-level/open-world level design to mix up gameplay and flesh out the world. And while the game can be hard, it is fairly short with most of the time spent re-trying levels for challenges to progress or hard difficulty (about 7 hours in main campaign). I would personally wait for a sale if you are curious, but I would love to see a sequel with these ideas more realized.
