If you like ASCII Roguelikes this one boils down the old school formula down to it's most basic form for a dungeon with a quest to defeat the wizard. Game took me 12 hours to get a complete, blind. I think all runs are just the same dungeon/quest with different classes/races to make things more or less challenging. There may be some biomes I haven't seen but I feel I have seen at least 75%.

I played Rogue Fables II on kongergate in middle school all the time. This game is one of my favorite roguelikes. This game diffidently is not for everyone, so if you want to try it out first I reccomend playing Rogue Fables II on Kongergate first to see if you like the way this game plays

This is some great old school roguelike fun. There are a lot of viable builds, and the daily challenges are entertaining.

Very good traditional rogue-like for experienced players and newcomers alike. Perhaps lacks a little spice or pizzazz. Music gets repetitive. Solid game though that I keep coming back too.

Rogue Fable 3 is a great gateway game into the traditional roguelike genre. It's short and sweet - you won't need to grind for 20 hours to get the perfect sword to win, as runs here will be on the order of 30 minutes or so. The art style is cute and fun without the need for garish ascii or baffling tile-based art you see in some other games. The animations and general vibe are great fun, if punishingly difficult.
