The game as a whole is underwhelming, but fun. I would highly suggest **NOT** buying this game as of current, the mods are broken and RS ASIO, CLDC, etc are not working because the game's changed a bit. But if they do start working once again, I would highly reccomend. Some pointers are that the real-tone cable is a fucking piece of shit, use a audio interface with either a direct-input mod or when it does start working again, RS ASIO. Other from that, don't buy the DLCS. There's a steam guide to get (most) songs for free. (EDIT) It's fucking working now!!!!!! Buy it, it's pretty good

Most people leaving negative reviews dont know about CustomsForge - CF(Google it nerds) - or can buy DLC on steam..... CF finally released patch and now songs work in this version.

Buy it quick, before they take it down again. This is my second time of buying this, this time for myself. More of a learning tool than "Guitar Hero with a real guitar" nowadays. Not that it is a bad thing. The included song selection is lackluster, as it contains no songs. Only thing available there are generic lessons, so this is useless if you are looking into learning how to play a specific song. A decade ago there was Iron Maiden and whatnot available, but not anymore. But if you are looking to improve your overall guitar skills, it might be worth it. This could be the motivator you need to get you pick up your guitar and play. I had a good time in the band mode, just jamming with an interactive backing track that reacts on how you play, which is better than static track from youtube. You can also use this to test out different pedals and amps, but as with the songs, the selection is really basic. Osta nopeasti, ennen kuin ottavat taas pois myynnistä. Itse ostin jo toistamiseen, tällä kertaa itselle. Enemmän opetustyökalu kuin "Guitar Hero oikealla kitaralla" nykyään. Ei sillä että se olisi huono juttu. Sisältyvä kappalevalikoima on surkea, sillä se ei sisällä lainkaan kappaleita, ainoastaan yleisiä oppitunteja, joten tämä on hyödytön, jos haluaa opetella soittamaan jonkin tietyn kappaleen. Vuosikymmen takaperin saatavilla oli mm. Iron Maidenia ja kaikkea, mutta ei enää. Mutta jos tarkoitus on kehittyä ylipäänsä kitaransoittajana, saattaa tämä olla hintansa arvoinen. Tämä voi olla se motivaattori, jonka tarvitsee vain tarttuakseen kitaraansa. Itsellä oli hauskaa bänditilassa, jossa voi vain jammailla interaktiivisen taustaraidan kanssa. Pelissä voi myös kokeilla eri pedaaleita ja kaiuttimia, mutta kuten oli biisien laita, valikoima on kehno.

RS_ASIO doesnt work atm so you cant use an audio interface yet you need a realtone cable or just wait until they update it

I got it way before it got originally delisted but buy Cherub Rock DLC and then try modding in Custom DLCs made by the community, the game becomes incredible with the amount of songs that you can play for free, or even be able make them yourself if you watch some tutorials and whatnot
