Realised i never left a comment. I played this game back when it was on Itch first an ungodly amount, the animations, songs and other design elements make it for a super addictive Game with easy restart options.

Cute little gem of a platformer, difficult but satisfying. Reminds me of the Sorceress' Garden you can find in Runescape.

RITE is a hidden gem in the indie game universe, showcasing what can be achieved when simplicity meets perfect execution developed with a clear love for classic platforming mechanics. The controls in RITE are its standout feature. They are incredibly responsive and precise, which is crucial for a game that demands such accuracy from its players. Every jump and movement feels fluid and intuitive making the gameplay experience extremely gratifying. This level of control precision is a critical component in creating a fair but challenging environment. Visually, RITE goes for a minimalist aesthetic which works wonderfully. The clean and clear graphics ensure that the player’s focus remains on the gameplay. The use of vibrant colors against more muted backgrounds isn’t just pleasing to the eye but also functions as a practical design choice clearly distinguishing obstacles and platforms. The soundtrack is subtle yet effective with each track complementing the game’s rhythm and flow. The music adds an additional layer of atmosphere to the game without ever distracting from the core platforming action. If there is an area where RITE might fall short, it could be its replayability. Once you’ve mastered the levels there might be little incentive to return. However for those who relish beating their own times or scores there is still some replay value to be found.

It's an absolutely fantastic game. Too tough for me. I got stuck on one of the last stages of World 4. I'm throwing in the towel, but still giving a glowing recommendation. Simple mechanics, high skill ceiling. Just goes to show you don't need cluttered UI's and a full keyboard of controls to make a sweaty precision platformer. There's basic left/right movement, jumping, and wall jumping. That's it. The levels become very cruel as the game goes on. Your reflexes, timing, and of course, precision, will be tested. I don't have the dexterity to beat this one, but I had a great time trying. There's little to no story and each level is one screen, but you'll likely die a lot making them take forever to complete. Each world has its own theme and damn this soundtrack is pure flames. I had to buy it on Bandcamp. Super catchy and never gets old. The pixel art is colorful and smoothly animated. This is a simple, low price game for precision platformer enthusiasts. It doesn't reinvent the wheel or overcomplicate its mechanics. It's easy to learn, but hard to master. 8/10
