The gun play is crisp and realistic. Better than squad and HLL, similar to Rising Storm: Vietnam. Definitely worth the $13 i payed for it.

This game dives into an often unexplored side of warfare. Horror. Between the screams of the dying, the deafening cascade of gunfire and artillery, and the detailed and graphic death animations, this game can be downright traumatic. Boasting a still-active playerbase and a gameplay formula that combines ultra-realistic action with simpler controls than most other military simulation games, this one is definitely worth a try.

Best to make new friends and meet unique people, I 100% recommend buying this game as soon it gets on sale! This game may be ancient but it still holds out great! Especially with the although shy but funny community nonetheless. Each campaign makes you feel like you're in some story or a movie and it can be really immersive at times. (I'm looking at you Leica) This game has made me feel anxious , rage, shed tears, overwhelmed with joy and compassion. This game is a hidden gem and I hope we meet together in the frontlines!

Not many people playing this game today, but back in 2015 i had a lot of fun playing this. People running around getting blown to pieces by artillery shells, my whole squad got mown down by MG42. Even driving tanks is as much as scary being an infantrymen. I also still got PTSD from this game especially the grain elevator, yes that one famous building in stalingrad where in real life history it was one of the most violent and intense battle in WW2. 10//10 Devs, thank you Tripwire Interactive.

A classic from Tripwire made by one of the greatest devs John Gibson (who also made KF1 and did a collab with Torn Banner Studios, the first company to develop a successful melee combat PvP game). Unfortunately, they fired this brilliant mind for just having an opinion, now Tripwire is going downhill, just look what Killing Floor is becoming with the development of part 3, it is pretty much Overwatch with zombies. Or look at that other game called "Rogue Waters", wtf is this company doing now? We just needed the classics with the newest engines and that it is. Ret4rt3t people (I know it is with a D, the thing you guys like lol) can whine and say 1000 things, but they can't deny that all the games John Gibson did were really fk1ng awesome and innovative, KF1, KF2, RO1, RS1 and RO2. Those games are the ones who made Tripwire have its prime, earn tons of money and have a community for a LONG period of time, just by saying that KF2 still has an average active community of 8k or more every single day of the week, RO2 is still breathing with 100 players (enough to fill 2 servers). KF1 is still alive with an average of 250. All of this statistics are from october of 2024 and those games have minimum 8 years in the market (KF2 is from 2016, RO2 is from 2011, KF1 is from 2009). So, my advice to Tripwire is: Hire John Gibson again and I don't care if you guys censor him in ALL the media, but let him do his work because he was and he probably is still one of the best devs/CEOs you guys ever had.
